So do i weld these as well? Asking because, as you said knobs and buttons can be left floating over the cockpit.
Radar cover in Red colour.
Rest i am sure about.
Thanks!

its maybe because he has high-poly and low-poly in one scene? You could check that yourself in bf2viewer, but I think choppers in PR with all the elements have around 10k tris. Someone can correct me though

Yes its because both HP and LP are in one scene, they have to be i guess.

Yes those can as I said.
Try starting from the very begging of this topic and read all my feedback with the examples I gave and see if the same thing applies to parts of your cockpit. I wrote those so you (and possibly others) could learn from it.

Video:
The Det cord assembly on the left is one object and likewise on the left and these are not welded to the main cockpit.
The compass and the clock on the front of the cockpit are welded but somehow doesn't show up with the whole cockpit as single element in element selection.
The Det cord assembly on both the sides are 2000 tris alone.
Thanks!

Can't really see much in your videos, post decent screenshots and also turn backface cull on as I mentioned before in this topic, much easier to see how your model is made and also more crucially, how it will behave ingame.

Still can't tell much from your shots, guess I'm just going to have to go over the model myself at some point but are you sure the flight stick is to the right scale etc? Looks really small and really low down? Also looks like the area behind the console, nearest the nose is capped off at the back where you can't see it and why is the footwells joined at the back, even if not correct would be best just to cap them at the ends since no one is going to go looking down in there. Also some rudder pedals might be good to add down there for if someone does look down, just some simple ones nothing too complex. And the forward windscreen struts are currently extending up, above the main arch strut, where I'm pretty sure they should be at the same level?

You're right, that stick is too small.I'll scale it right, by placing a biped inside the cockpit for reference. As for the nose side area, i need that place for the windscreen struts to be welded on both ends as it is now, still i'll try to cap off the footwells. Extended the windscreen struts, just to add some definition otherwise it will just look 2D ish.I'll lessen the extent a bit.

Sounds good.

Them being 3D isn't the problem, that is fine, the problem is they are going outside and should be inside:
