162eRI wrote:as you can see on the picture, you have this writing:
陸上自衛隊
It means JGSDF.
I don't think I'll be able to add that, because the texture is mirrored for both sides, so one side would have it backwards
But wilco on everything else

Haven't read the whole thread, but an assault from PLAN Marines on mainland Japan with the JGSDF defending the beach would be awesome. (kinda like barracuda with the addition of boats)

I think Barracuda would be a fine test map when we'll have to import assets in game.
About the Kanji writing for JSDF on the super cobra ; just put them on, I think it isn't that bad overall if the writing is reversed, I don't think many will go nitpicky on Kanji writing anyway, only a few here can read them correctly anyway.
But it's your choice m8, the skin is grate even without the kanji!

Don't the vanilla BF2 Seahawks have "US NAVY" written on the tail without it being reversed?

That's because the UV map was made so there's a different piece for each side of the tail. But the AH-64's UV only has one side, and IMO it wouldn't be worth the effort to remap the whole thing just for some Kanji.

PR's Blackhawk/Seahawk is the same as the vanilla right?

Eh, in a way, they added "child objects" so the black hank is the same core model, but looks different.

I'm not sure if it was posted before, but I found another good site for image/stats reference:

Yup.
I still wonder Riflemans and Medics don't have binoculars ..

Does the Blackhawk have the same reversing effect on the skin?

Looking really good. Roundel still looks a bit small. But the camo is "B.E.A utiful". Question... the black cockpit... Is that normal?
162eRI wrote:Argg, good damnit, you're right, i forget that! But I know that on CQB, they reskin the Blackhawk and if i remember well, it's write properly (but perhaps only on one side). Anyway, nobody, well almost, can't read it, so does it matter?
As for the camo, I can just say, wonderful

Our first faction helicopter is in, thanks ^^
(perhaps add the black triangle and black lines above the walking up, but, really little details)
3 new vending machines (lucky charms, cigarets, beer) and WIP trash

Nice! Lots of vending machines. One thing for sure is that the JSDF guys will have enough drink and cigarretes in the battlefield
And trash cans! I know the japanese are super-clean guys.

So no literring in Japan based maps please
Nice work. What are planning to do next for statics? Maybe some traffic signs, lamps?

The only problem is finding reference material for it

A rail has been attached to the foregrip of the 89 to allow a vertical foregrip, so it should be easy for a rail-mounted M203 to be attached.
