they have a 5min respawn time on them, providing they are manned before the cobra gets there, the cobra will be dead. the catch is as soon as you hear the cobra, you need to sprint there as fast as you can, but you can see the cobra in the fog before it can see you, so providing your in it, hes dead.

Maybe the range on Hellfires should be cut to 1000m so you can't shoot them off the carrier through the fog onto the main land like on Gulf of Oman.

Players doing so should simply be punished like teamkillers i guess. Though limiting the range a bit isnt a bad idea either, but then its the realism vs. gameplay argument again...

if they try to attack the car park of the fort like that they will just fail since there missiles will just strike the hill or the fort causing no to little damage. They will have to get into such a position as they would be able to be shot down before they can attack that area, yes I did think of all this stuff

Well done Rhino... The transformation from RL to PR is simply beautiful and spot on accurate mate. Amazing job and your hard work and detail has paid off!!!! The gameplay on this map, especialy with the cobras attacking the city, is gonna be sweeeeet. All I can say is, if your MEC just dig in and pray to Allah.... Hoooah

I was going to let one of the other devs chip in here as they did the work on it but I'm tired of seeing this popping up all the time so mehh.
They are Mortar, Arty and JDAM. They indicate if the map has any of them or not, as you can see, muttrah has none.

Wasn't artillery removed? At least the old Bf2 one with automated self-maintaining cannons that could fire every 2 minutes.

LAV 25s have a 5min respawn, but it takes them also 5mins to get from the carrier to shore, then probably a drive to combat.
Bleed happens for the USMC once MEC capture all land flags and are in the water, slow light bleed thou.
MEC have a light bleed once the city centre flags have been capped, and once south city is capped, they get a slightly harder bleed, fort capped pure out right win for USMC.
But you do not need to worrie about MEC being the underdogs.

It's on hold waiting for 0.8.They're (NATO) not going to crash any choppers
or TK each other on carrier, I'll give them that much

20 minutes for 1 BTR I don't know

Even if we keep it alive still
2 VS 1, plus the cobra and the infantry.

but the MEC APC is far better 1 on 1 with the USMC apc to start off with, then the USMC APC has limited LZs, you can easily camp many of them before it will get any where near them. I'm sure you will also get very good AA positions on taking out the cobra, i mean even if you can't take out a cobra, you will scare it off with a AA and that is for the most part, all you need. You can enter soo many buildings, hide on a baloney and just lock onto any chopper that passes by. Providing your team mates keep you supplied with ammo, you want really have much of a problem.
the thing is, MEC have the huge advantage of having control of the ground, and that's not something that is easily broken.
