Just out of curiosity - where are the seats?

decided not to model any seats, gonna be like the R.I.B where the soldiers are kneeling. first to lower the profile, secondly to save polies and third because (at least i think so) it would be more natural for the soldiers to shoot in a kneeling position (if it is needed) and the boat is more stable with a lower gravity center (all things which would be important in a beach/sea assault)

Looks great, and you guys are doing some awesome work, but there's something that's just bugging the hell out of me.

Could someone explain to me the practicality of putting naval camouflage on a soldier?

Well done! the boat looks very good :)

______________

The troops change combat dress once they've reached inland. The marines' uniforms in the screen shots posted here all depict the marines doing beach assaults, thus the blue is for the ocean, grey for the fog, sand color for the sand and so on.

I guess that makes some sense... I just hope the maps reflect this, either all or mostly water, with very quick land objectives. Maybe a series of small islands PLAN Marines have to assault, with emphasis on fast assaults. Could be a good China-US map.

I'm just worried that too long trekking over land and I'd start to feel pretty vulnerable.

Which one will be featured? The naval one?

Agreed, the light blue digital camo looks like it'll stick out easily on maps like Barracuda for example.

Yeah, we'll be using the ocean camo, digital pattern for the faction. Just to note though, the uniform looks completely different when it's wet and dirty. Thus it wouldn't be THAT much of an eyesore.

Thought, you can perhaps enlarge the fastener engine (it looks fragile) and enlarge the propellers?!

Can't wait to see it finished, it will be awesome to play with!
I agree. Its a great model but the engine looks a tad small for a military engine. Remember that you can add a bit of sex to a model to make it look better whilst retaining the realism factor.

I know, but it would look a bit better if it was upted a little bit. Now it looks like a vietnamse fishing boat. With an engine that goes: put put put put put put put instead of ROOAAAAAAR!
