Glad we were able to get this resolved. =) It was clearly just a heated situation. It's difficult to be in a situation where your an admin trying to clear up the muck of something you didn't or couldn't have witnessed. Especially as an admin who is continuously contributing to the overall team effort, because it usually means that you're right in the thick of it. And we are just as passionate about the game as most people playing PR, so that adds to any judgement we have to make. Thank you for jumping into Vent and letting us work through this with you.

I kinda like it that =HOG= has zero tolerance towards all disobediences of their server rules. The few times I have been playing there, everyone is behaving well and doing a good job.

Well once again, HOG have proved themselves to be a group of arrogant, power-abusing douchebags.

Just now I was kicked for questioning the rules.

The MEC had a FOB set up in fortress and the USMC was moving to South City.

The MEC FOB in the Fortress was accurately engaging the USMC forces with 2 snipers as well as infantry and TOW/HAT fire.

I asked the admins if I could attack, but 2 admins (both on the MEC team) said it was off limits.

A few people mentioned the fact that the US has immunity in repair station, but we need to remember that the repair station is not a vantage point. Its a tactically-disadvantageous position behind a couple of buildings. The fortress has visibility to 50 percent of the map, as well as all of the Muttrah bay approaches and 2 objectives.

I asked why they could set up operations there with immunity from USMC fire and they said to take it up on the forums. To this I replied:

"Would that be the forums that take a week for approval or the PR forums on which there is a 20 page thread of complaints against HOG?"

Thats when I was kicked.

I mean really?

This fucking attitude of "THIS IS OUR SERVER!" and "IF YOU DONT LIKE IT PLAY SOMEWHERE ELSE!" is ridiculous. For some reason, my PR crashes to desktop on a lot of maps and a lot of servers ping much too high to be practical for me. I dont have an awful lot of options on where to play.

I know what people are like. Ive been Multi-Player online gaming since the release of Day of Defeat back in 2000. Ive been in clans, modeled, been an admin etc etc. I played Battlefield 1942 when it came out in 2002 and Battlefield 2 when it came out in 2005. Ive been playing Project Reality since about 2006.

You cant tell me that the actions of players have forced you to become this harsh. I know gamers. I am one. I know trolls and TKers and hackers and glitchers etc. I get that. I get that as an admin, you are relied upon to keep the peace, but this is NOT the way. I have never been on a server maintained the way this one is. I dont understand why every other server just seems to fucking GET IT and this one cant seem to comprehend the idea.

Anyway, Romeo, I have respect for you but at this stage all I can really say is I suggest you join a better clan. They arent even fucking good.

Oh yeah, forgot to mention. At this point Im getting kicked about once or twice a day.

not to be intruding or anything, but if ya dont like the server play somwhere else.

I can MAYBE play on 2 servers at any given time.

Well it prob won't be long before HOG servers are deserted anyway...going by the number of complaints.

You were kicked for your remark. There's nothing that says we have to take abuse from anyone. You let your temper get the best of you. If you had stated something like: "I'm not clear... Why is the Fortress off limits..." Then the response may have been different. We are constantly fielding complaints against people who are claiming other people are doing stupid things. So, when a complaint about the rules is questioned, some may take it as a sign of disregard and/or disrespect. The rules are clear. AAS rules show that you can't attack a main base until the flag is on it. Since Fortress is a spawnable position from start, it is perceived as part of the main. Therefore, you can't attack it until the flag is on it. We didn't create the rule. We just attempted to interpret the rules and lay them out. We debated on the Fortress rule for a while. Not all of us agree with it being off limits. But, we did decide collectively that that was what was intended by the PR Devs. So, we put it in writing as to keep the questionability of it's attack to a minimum. After all, we thought, a written rule will be followed as a law and not open to interpretation. But, we get a lot of individual interpretation anyway. Seems everyone has there own ideas of how we should determine the game play. And most times, those determinations are made in the forms of whines and complaints. Our rules are clear. If someone has a good reason why we should change them, they need to post in our forums.

I'm going to be respectable here. I was in your 24/7 M-City Server. I spawn USMC and immediately looked into the huey trans squad because I'm a good pilot and love flying. Their was 2 people in the trans squad one of which was an admin and your clan mate. I can't remember his name. I asked to join because their were four hueys and only two pilots. He said no and I asked nicely why with all the hueys. He didn't answer, instead he just kicked me from the server. So I then re-joined the server and created the CAS squad and jumped in the cobra. No one else was in my squad and people were requesting cas. I waited for a fairly decent time and still no one joined my squad. I took off and he threatened me for leaving alone in the cobra. He told me to return it back to the ship. Well I wasn't going to type while flying so I started heading back. I then got hit by an AA and he banned me for 1 week because of this incident without even allowing me to explain. Some people on your server are very nice and enjoyable to play with. But unfortunately most are not. Well I decided to wait the one week and went back to your server for a THIRD time. I still got harrassed by this same guy. So I did what I thought was best. I took C4 placed it on his chopper and blew it. Some of your clan mates are very rude and give your clan a very bad name. Obviously which can be seen from this long of a thread. This is very unfortunate because other than these incidents HOG is a very RELIABLE server. I no longer play this game because of this issue. I just wanted to bring it up so you know what is happening on your server when your not around. If I was harsh in any way in this post I apologize. When you get on PR and this is a great server if you can stomach the same freakin' map over and over... You can't attack fortress even if rockets, hats, mg, smg, snipers, loud block party, riflemen, BTR, or anythign is shooting at you. The Server admins put in these buildings to protect you from Fortress FOB's, on the server we like to call it South C.I.T.Y.

Once South City is capped however feel free to J-Dam, mountain climb, Viking charge, toilet paper, set fire, destroy, mine, ymca dance all over fortress. When the admins are playing and we are at the point of taking south which is a very tense situation please just accept what is going on and don't make comments like you did. ALSO based on your track record if you see an admin named Creasyonfire, do not say anything. Home' dont play

Hmm . Alright it seems something happend to your site and it looks off so im gonna write my complain here . I was playin on our server and was in a cas squad flyin it . Then suddenly i got ts'd and immediatly switched over . But after 5 secs i got kicked for ts'in ( my gunner was standin by for me) Then i rejoined got kicked again so this kept over and over . Anyway then i said that let me talk for a while and with that anger i added some couples things to this sentence :/ and got permamen banned
So im sory for what i said . I couldn't control myself . But its good if u listen people i mean their defence before kickin So i was gonna ask u if u can unban me again?

No its not or there is somethin wrong with me . Because i just cannot connect to site for some reason or another .

try out a diferent browser. maybe IE or opera. if you cant acces it, just send me a PM with your ban apeal, and ill post it for you and let you know what happens

I wouldnt recommend playing here, Admins are lazy and (if i remember correctly) cheat
In my previous clan we played together on the server untill 1 of our member was banned, and the admins never said why or would lift the ban, hence forth we just boycotted their server.
