Textures, effects - HIGH, shadows - off, AA-4x, rest - medium.

at high 95 to 103 fps on all the maps : )

Newest Nvidia Driver 196.75. Release 2010.03.02
Settings I tested are-
NV-Control Panel: 1400x900@75Hz, 16xAA(override), 16xAF, 'Single display performance mode', AF Sampling Optimization = off, High Quality IQ, Trilinear Optimization = off, Vsync = Force Off
Game settings: Terrain = High, Effects = High, Geometry = High, Texture = Medium, Lighting = High, Dynamic Shadow & Lighting = Off, AA = Nvidia Controlled, Texture Filter = High, View Distance 100%.

Lowest fps of 58, highest of 179.

Maxed out with 50+ FPS !

All high with 2x or 4x AA depending on the account.
Everything sits on 100fps, apart from Fallujah West where it drops to 1fps, and I end up ragequitting.

medium(90-100fps+)
high(50-60fps+)

All high x16 AA settings
Playing @ 1680 x 1050

untill mid of march this year, i played on ~medium, then i got a processor update (dual core 2.6ghz) but still have my ancient X800XL.
now i can almost play with everything on high, except AA, only 2 samples.
but it runs with constant 25-40 fps (in PR; depends on map and location). in vanilla, if its interesting to somebody, i have around 90 fps consantly.

Still makes me MAD that the DEVS will not do something about LOW GFX users. The game is now well over 5 years old. But yet the lame player tits will not change their settings even when they have the power to run high GFX don't. They keep it on low so as they can see pass/through smoke. There is nothing more dam annoying than hiding in a full on smoke cloud that has my entire screen filled. But some tit can snipe me from 150m away. And I am not talking about Suppressing fire. I Am talking about single shot accurate fire.


Do us all a favour and Force everybody's settings to "medium".

Not to interrupt your rage here or anything, but when you play on Low settings you can not see through smoke. AT all. Furthermore you give up seeing shadows (through walls), muzzle flashes, etc.

As far as I know. Smoke on LOW GFX users can and do see through smoke. As the Smoke does not render at large distances.

Max settings; recently installed an ATi 5770... enjoyed PR much further

USED to run all on high, now all on medium since 0.9

All high, x8 AA, 100% View Distance

Well, I played with low effects untill they broke the game for me, and I sure could see smoke.

All on maximum

got Phenom II X2 545 3.0GHz, 5750 and Melco 2x2gt DDR3 1333mhz so its enough to run^^

High, 60-95 fps average
