he dont need any more experince to become a weapon modeler.
After all, my 4th ever model was the Negev for the IDF. And it seems he already know how to keep the polygons down, which is a good thing when it comes to game modeling.
he just need to ask if he is stuck like I did. And ask for tips and such. We do have quite a few people modeling, which is not a bad thing. I've reached the point where I want to focus more on the game aspect of it and try to get a good understanding of the import and how it works so I can take some of those jobs in the future - it seems we need people like that, so why not me I think I have a understanding for the bf2 animations too now, but well have to see about that when I get a few more models ingame.

It's a mutant with a normal map. I learned to use zbrush and to make normal maps in one day ( and night). We had to make a animation and I was in huge rush, so that´s why the texture is crappy. Texture was made in 30 min. For that time I think it looks pretty good.
And this is a house project what I´m making for €€
p.s Everything is done by me, except the furniture in the mutant pic. Textures, models and stuff

Something I've been working a little on:
Needs: cocking handle, new pistol grip, rear sight, vents in the bottom part of the handguard, safety selector, trigger, small changes around the cocking handle area, work on the buttplate, etc.
