got any ref pics with palm trees like that in the location of this map?
I would try and use some other types of trees unless you have refs of that general location of your map that have palms like you have it.

gen overgrowth is always changing, I'm constantly trying to work out the highest view distance/highest density of trees with minimal lag, but I like the idea of using more tree types.
looking at the ref pics i do notice there is some areas of not-so-palm trees. I will add more variation.

boat has gotten the uv's done and some minor corrections done by heavy, so the boat should be going through texturing i believe (haven't followed up on this yet) and i'm supposed to get the lods done soon when i find the time (but it's so boring !!! :wink
also i don't know why it isn't added in the spreadsheet yet, but the hand grenade should be uv'ed and textured.

lol, I know what you mean I'm just the same, I normally remember ppl by there avatars and sigs rather than names but I'm much more of a picture man
Can see what you mean but in a small village etc, I doubt there wouldn't be anything like as many signs as there are in towns and citys like that, thou ye defiantly something to consider.
Many of the Chinese village buildings already do have small signs all over them, but they are not very obvious.
matt.b also made these that are used on sunset and the small sign on Qinling and the large gate is used on OGT and 7 gates.
but ye, would be good to have some more if we where making a town / city
