Standard speed of sound: 343.2 m/s
Beretta 92 muzzle velocity: 381 m/s
MP5 muzzle velocity: 400 m/s

Nevermind...got it to work. On the distant sounds, the first shot was a .22 just did it for fun. Sorry about about the distant sounds because you can hear the shell hit the ground from the 9mm....not the 30-06 it was too loud.

I took the 9mm sound and edited it, and I'm quite satisfied with the results. I'll make a video tomorrow.
Thats some nice effort man, but I have made new sounds for M9 that really are my own work. So thats what Im aiming for now. To have it all mine. Maybe Ill show them to you soon.
And I primarily mean weaponsounds, footsteps, gearsounds etc.

Love the sounds, but is it possible to create a seperate zip which contains all the sounds and then use an archive method to load it into PR?
That way people who want to try it just need to back up the clientarchives file and if there is any issues with PB kicks they just revert back to their original version of clientarchives, and don't need to reinstall PR.

Hello again guys.
Now I want to show you what I've been doing. This time, aiming to only use my own recordings, soundarchives, videorecordings etc.
I want to show you some of the new shootsounds, footsteps, casings, that I've been working on. This is not meant to be released as a mod, but to be included into PR if I get permission and if the team likes them. There're still alot of work to be made and things can change.
I just want to show you what I've been up to and not to be taken from games I think I've succeeded pretty well this time with the shootsounds and the other sounds.
All I can tell you is that I'll stick to these sounds and work on them and if perhaps I join the team I'll do my best to ship out as many new goodies I can with upcoming updates.
I little note on some of the sounds:
The M249, AKs, AR15s, SVD, MP5 are all sounds from the real guns. Some Ive recorded myself, some is from archives.
Ive recorded 40% of the footsteps and gearsounds aswell. Someone asked for "rattling equipment" so there you got it. Even if sounds like its a soldier from WW2, it has a very nice feeling ingame when you crawl, or move yourself, also when hearing your teammembers move around.

Dude. wow.
The M9. Holy ****. It sounds amazing.
These are probably some of the best sounds I've heard ever, for a video game.
Well done, awesome work!

They sound great to me, but this isn't really my department, if you want to get them into PR, like I said contact our sound developers for further information.
