All the tutorials in the Community Modding section of the forums, plus all the DEVs and R-CONs who are really kind and can help you in a lot of ways
I.e. : They make me realize that modelling a missile was far more complicated than just a cylinder with planes

Start at lesson 1
Although honestly you could just look into learning how to tweak vehicles, materials and other such things contained in .con/.tweak files and be just as useful. Proper programming skills take a while to build up

I've never looked at any python code, for some reason I just assumed it was a complicated low level language. It is some easy high level stuff.

have the UAV bug been fixed when ground vehicles and assets is disappearing?
