PR 1.0 unplayable

I've tried to report my problems on the support page but nobody has offered any help. The problem is that with graphics that allow me to see clearly I get no better than 20 fps but normally hover around less than 15 (renderer.drawfps 1 bottoms out at 15). Aside from the low FPS I WILL CRASH every other map. By time I get my settings low enough to play everything becomes all pixilated and looks like I'm playing minecraft and anything past 500m is impossible to make out. In .98 I got between 60-80fps on medium/high settings.

Please do something to help improve the lag problem. Smaller servers seemed to help (like when TG had 88 players). And please don't leave comments like "well it's not PR fault it's yours get a non s*** computer". Those aren't helpful and I find them offensive.
As a player since the .7s or something like that I'd hate to leave now just because the game is horrifically laggy. Sorry if this seems like somebody being an jerk and just hate against the game but I felt I had to say it as many players including myself are suffering from horrible lag.

Why is there no CPU or RAM in your specs above?

Sincerely doubt you were getting a 60-80fps on medium-high with an HD5450. I was running a steady 30 on all medium, 1800*900, with drops to 15-20 on maps like fallujah in 98, using an HD5650. Now a sketchy 30 on low-medium with heavy drops on certain maps and the cpu spikes problem.

What's your cpu and ram? Did you edit those out of the output file? Why? It's the area most people are bottle necking right now. Additionally, turn anti aliasing off, that 2x anti aliasing you've got on will be having a major effect over some of the other settings.

Some people have had success keeping dynamic lighting and shadows at medium rather than off, as I believe they're forced settings anyway and making them lower changes nothing, reports of the effect of this have been hit and miss though, fantastic for some while no change for others.

I had resolution and 1024 gave the best picture. All but 3 or 4 settings weren't high. With anti-aliasing off scope sights disappear although don't use the sniper/marksman that much worth a shot.

Also RAM is 3.75 gb graphics card I think is 1 gb could be 2.

Razer Game Booster - CNET Download.com

Use this, and you will thank me.

I have horrible Gfx Card, and I use this.... I get about 45fps on a intense firefight! :)

I think that a Dev would tell you to use this.
Do not use process lasso, it is not a charm compared to this.

How about removing those restrictions the launcher enforces. Maybe that would help some people.

Interesting that nobody here appears to be using XP, which could just be because nobody is using XP. Alternatively, the newer OSes might be part of the problem.

100% sure that it would work for me, but the real problem is with people that have good computers but can't even run it on low.

Seriously, I only experience my FPS drop when I look in the direction of the map where a majority of the players are are at. I can only conclude that DICE had its reason to cap the max players at 64 and now we're seeing why. I dunno.

Even on Muttrah or any other map where I my PC can cap out FPS and never drop, I see significant drops when I look toward an objective where the majority of players are at.

I don't remember the 128+ player stress tests being particularly laggy... That's not to say 64+ players isn't related to the lag, but I don't think that the simple fact that there 100 players per server now is the cause of all this.
