PR 1.0 disconnects after like 15 minutes

Have you guys tried changing your connection settings in PR Main Menu -> Options -> Game?

To what.
Since I have Comcast I would switch to cable? Or T1.
I have fast speed

Also update PB. reinstal it following instructions from the sticky

Still no reply from Comcast.


When I had AT&T DSL, It didn't lag out or nothing. Just server crashes.
The DSL speed max 6mbps


So It's definently comcast or at least Arris.

Yeah it's really pleasant to play in full now ^^' On my old Satelite L555-10R Was playing medium on the begining of pr and on the newest version on low xD



I've already opened my port avec disabled my firewall but i have setted my connection setting to the other choice too last night just after i have played FH2 to see how many fps i've got with and without Vsync
The only thing i can't do is to go straigh to my modem :/

Heres my quick story on this issue. A friend of mine has the random disconnect issue, he can go 2 hours without a d/c, or he might just get d/c'd within minutes of joining a server. its completely random for him and I have never had those issues with pr(im running comcast Arris modem TM502G) hes got comcast as well and actually pays more for extra bandwidth also. Hes had comcast change out his modem already and still disconnects.. He brings his pc over to my house and we hook it up and play pr. We played for about an hour and a half with no disconnects. Came back and we were kicked for being AFK, which was much better than a connection to server has been lost, obviously. He left the PC at my house and I joined a server that did not kick for being AFK. 5 hours pass and no disconnect. Several times has he brought it back to my house since then and not one time of playing for hours on end does his computer disconnect at my house. i think my next move is taking my pc to his house and seeing if i get disconnected? This post wont be a cure-all but any little input helps on such a crappy issue.

SCUFFINGTON, ask him to join a Co-Op server... with no players to see if that still disconnections him.

Hmmm i've played this afternoon without connection lost ... something like 4/5 hours ... one on New era and the rest on merk .. Looks ok for me today ... will see tonigh and tomorow !

Play on a Few servers, even if you disconnect from them all.

I recommend playing onL:
Tactical Gamer, CIA, HOG, and =H= servers.

Please post after you disconnected on all of them, about how long it took.


Copy this after you played them...

And if you noticed a difference between HOG, =H= server, Tactical Gamer, and CIA. Please let me know.... I think I could see what is your problem!!

not sure how acurate that would be ae buddy, like, its a different amount of time almost every time so, you would have to do the test over and over, like he said he join and DC straight away and the next time was between 20/30, i get your idea and if you can nail it down that way then good on ya

yeah i think im with Vodaphone ae, (there actually good here haha)
i have a mass complex system to block viruses as mums bf works for vodaphone and has access to EVERYTHING, but i asked him to connect directly to the modem, and he gave me a solid wired connetion, but first blocked me from the home network, but still giving me full uninterrupted internet access, my brother plays PC games and alot of xbox and has never come accross this problem, he ALSO didn't loose connetion to BF play 4 free where as i did, so i think its safe to say it boils down to my laptop, but i have donw a complete system restore, so im stumped is there anyway your computer has a setting with the internet that affects the speed? like a sleep mode or somthing? as im lost to the problem.
