I'll leave that to you, lol.
Honestly, give it a few more releases. MacNiell(sp?) said he'd navmesh it for SP/Coop, but taking into consideration that it takes time to navmesh and get a map SP ready, I will wait until I am certain I wont be updating too soon (like I have been recently)
Besides, Flags cant be captured yet, although, maybe this sunday I will work on it some. Tomorrow and Saturday Im busy celebrating my one year with my gf.

So i cant exactly ask if she wants to watch me edit maps in the bf2 map editor... can I?
It would be great to seesp support for this map soon. But i know its tough work navmeshing.

Actually, the version on my filefront is WITH the fixed server.zip, so either download from my filefront and be done, or download on MAINERRORs site and get both, and place the server.zip you download in the maps folder and overwrite... one r the other... lte me know if it works/doesnt.

Mh, this map doesn't start on my linux server.
BF2CC says...
Exception restarting process: System.ApplicationException: This process is not in a stopped state and cannot be started.
in <0x00794> BDSoft.BF2.Server.Globals.ProcessManager:Start ()
in <0x000b1> BDSoft.BF2.Server.Globals.ProcessManager:_process_Exited (System.Object sender, System.EventArgs e)
I unpack these files....and fixed the server.zip file.
Black_Hawk_Down
--Info
---Black_Hawk_Down.desc
---gpm_cq_64_menumap.PNG
---loadmap.PNG
---Thumbs.db
--server.zip (fixed file)
Any ideas ?

so i downloaded the .rar, and when i extract it to get the map folder, all i have is a folder with
info
a .rar for client
a .rar for server
and that's it.. so.... was i supposed to extract this into the previous BHD folder, and overwrite stuff? or...?

Snoy_ns, wheres the client.zip? i dotn know anything about a dedicated server... nothing at all... all i know is I have played local games on it and LAN style games...
Ughhh...
delete the old BHD folder, or delete everything in it, your call.
then, download the version i have on filefront right now.
drag and drop the contents into the folder so it looks like this:
in bf2/mods/pr/levels, there should be/you should make a Black_Hawk_Down folder
the folder should have contents like so:
a Client.zip
a Server.zip
an "Info" folder with:
----pictures and a text document
make sense?
just make sure it looks like every other map that is in your PR levels folder and you should be ok. DONT extract the server or client zips. Thats bad. Well, not bad, just...wrong...

as long as that
folder
is titled
Black_Hawk_Down
and is in your pr/levels folder, you should be good to go. Does it look like the rest of your PR levels' folders?

Well I looked at all 25 pages and followed all possible "fixes" and I'm still crashing when starting. Someone mentioned reformatting worked, but unfortunately for me, that's a bit too drastic to get 1 map to work.
Good luck.

Are you sure they have .rar endings? Don't know if it matters or not but they SHOULD be .zip

I know this may sound silly but video settings try the default medium and create game in local server 64p btw this does not have bot support yet. My friend was trying to load this map but keep getting ctds and after awhile i figured that he might have been creating coop or sp games which caused the ctds and i think it runs fine now.

i'll try it again. the point was, even if it was a .zip vs. a .rar, i still didnt see any folder with Black Hawk Down as the title.
yea, i downloaded it, to my BF2 accesory folder (folder i made), dragged it to level's folder in PR mod, extracted it, and all that was there was an info file, a client zip, and a server zip.
if someone wants, to just give me the name of the Black Hawk Down level folder, i'll just make one inside of the level's folder.

wow, i guess many people have never added a level lol
ok, in your pr/levels folder, there are lists of folders for each map. ok?
now, what you all need to do is create a folder called Black_Hawk_Down, and place the info folder, the client.zip,
and server.zips in there(in the the BHD folder, not the INFO folder). make sense? I dont know how else to explain it simply without taking SS of it step by step, something i dont want to do. lol. just make it look like ALL the other maps, but in the Black_Hawk_Down folder.
And i think mostly everyone whos asked something has gotten an answer, even without CAPS LOCK

but if you think it helps... go for it
And yes,
ONLY start it in a
LOCAL GAME, 64 PLAYERS. DO NOT try to start it in SP or COOP. It
WILL NOT work!

i've added maps before. but usually the info/client/server's were already in the Map Folder, so that when i extractec the .rar, all that was in the PR level's folder was the map folder... so... maybe i'm not stupid.

Since I tried to update the new version of the map, launching it (creating local network map 64p) crash BF2 to the desktop...
I didn't changed any settings between the 2 versions.

Next time you update your server.zip, do this to prevent people from playing 16/32/sp
server.zip\GameModes
Delete everything except gpm_cq, inside gpm_cq delete 16/32 and keep 64
Ofcourse make backup incase something goes horribly wrong, but this will stop players from loading the map using 16/32/sp settings.

well, this time, the zip i put up was set so you should just be able to unzip it into you pr/levels folder and it SHOULD create a folder by the name of the zip to put the files in (Black_Hawk_Down)... so technically, its all set up still, just a dif way i guess... next time ill put it all in a Black_Hawk_Down FOLDER, and THEN zip it to avoid confusion... but really, make it look just like every other map...
