0.4, when u could request kits anywhere, the GM offered u tea, pinpoint accuracy on guns, and big cloud of blood spills our when u hit someone.

3 yrs later and i still suck at aiming.

0.2, that release was awesome, still remember my first match in Dragon Valley.

You never saw a enemy, since every shoot count so every one get they arses under any kind of protection; god and the tanks, they never crossed the bridge, got blow up at sight.

God So good memories.


But 0.4 is the best release so far. Iff we got all the assets from the 0.85 into 0.4 settings(principle for weapons accuracy) would be the best game ever.

It was so far back I can't remember. But I do remember thinking "Cool, an SPR". I wish to see that gun back somehow.

I was looking myself to find out when I started playing but I only can remember when I started and not with what release I did.
So could anyone pinpoint out which releases where due in 2006?

For me it was around 0.2, 0.3. Things have changed significantly since then. hardly recognizable now

It was 0.5 and then I just forget about BF2(I almoust 2 years didnt play in BF2 :lol .

Extraction. Now that's something i never heard or seen for a long time. Too bad most times it never worked out.(at least when i played) it was an interesting game mode. that silent sniper was awesome, ha

i got it with this latest realese 0.856 i belive and i found it awesome

I haven't been keeping track of the patches and it was a long time ago so I don't really recall. I believe I got into Project Reality in 0.5. When commanders not only were primarily required to build the assets but they also had to spawn the supply trucks themselves. Also when light vehicles spawned on the fire bases and were still running a few vBF2 maps.

Some really good times despite the upgrades of the patches. However if I had to re-play those patches I would definetly ditch them because compared to 0.85. 0.5 pretty much more looked like vBF2 than it does the current versions. 0.8 was the greatest PR patch.

I started playing on 0.7 but I had a shitty computer, played for an hour with 4 FPS lol lagging like hell, got really bored and deleted it.
I knew the game from Youtube at that time, I really liked the mod so when I got my new PC (This one) 5 months ago, Installed Bf2 and downloaded PR 0.8 after 10 days PR 0.856 was released so I downloaded it and here I am waiting for PR 0.86

05. I played realy short(becouse my SQ was enter in to Bf2142 league). When it begined to boring me a came back to PR(0.7) and I just loved it.

0.2 tried it, left it for a bit then came back 0.4 just before 0.5 was released. I couldn't get my head around the requestable kits. Man i was such a vbf2 noob!

Playing since Project Reality minimod.
