Anyone running PR in 3D?

I will have two GTX480's on the way soon and hope to play PR maxed at 1920x1200 in 3D. I was just curious if anyone had an uber set-up and was enjoying PR in three dimensions and cared to tell us about the experience.

I have medium for most, but since my laptop houses about 6 other games (which im probably getting rid of), i have to keep my textures low or else I get constant lag. I don't want to overclock my system; just leaving PR on for an hour to eat makes my computer really warm. Im getting a new laptop next year, since I move around so much I can't take a desktop.

Any idea why that would be? How do I tweak my settings to see farther?

change all settings to low and you will see it)

You pretty much can't get a higher view distance, its pre-set by the map. The reason why you're seeing that is because, when coded maps have a Begin view distance fade, and a completely faded code. That FOB was in the distance between the view distance fading, and the complete fade.

All maxed-high with 1080p, voted med before but I upgraded to quad core and a 260gtx. Plus adding texture with invidia panel. Getting about 80fps average.

They just know how to spot objects in the distance. Just turn your view so that the target is on the side and you'll see it, this clears up the fog a bit.

I used to be high, but now only between low and medium. However, there is room for air. I just want to be sure that the game runs properly :D

Since I've upgraded to a Core 2 Quad I run at maxed out settings now at 1680x1050 resolution.

However on the big city maps with the IDF my FPS tends to be VERY inconsistent, jumping from 80s all the way down to 30s occasionally.

After getting 64 bit Windows 7 and 6 GB of RAM, I can easily smoothly run PR on all maximum high settings.

SO GOOD!!!

High.

You have to admit, BF2 looks quite remarkable on the highest settings considering how old it is.

Low-Med, with 4x AA. I used to play on full-High settings, but my PC couldn't run the newer maps (Beirut, Gaza, Fallujah etc) well, so I had to turn graphics down.
