1) Lot's of people are whinging and complaining about jets in PR, will they be somehow changed in PR 1.0?
2) Did anyone think about giving the attack helicopter a small (1 or 2km) vanilla UAV (just like the LB/eurocopter in Armored Fury) to simulate the air radar? It would only detect other aircraft (how? remove the tank/inf/whatever icon or make it semi transparent). It would realy help those "HERP DERP heli is so hard to fly AA rocket is OP" to get ready for the attack. It wouldn't need to show the direction that the heli is looking if you would change the icon to a small red dot. Then you would only see the position of the aircraft on the minimap (if he gets close) but you wouldn't see the direction that he is looking, his heading (radar would refresh once per 4 seconds, just like in vanilla), or his altitude. That would really change the way how people would look at air engagements

1. We are doing a few updates here and there on the jets for v1, very small one here I posted awhile back:

Although if your a jet whore you should probably keep an eye out for PR:F.
2. If that was possible (to have the UAV radar pick up only aircraft) we would have added it to pretty much everything that has a radar... Not to mention that attack heli radars are probably the last thing that should have them since they are ground radars and not air radars, designed to pick out a tank hiding in the distance.

1. What's the difference between dropping a dummy bomb and dropping a LGB without laser? trajectory? damage? speed?
2. Well is it possible to remove the tank apc etc. icon so it would be just invisible (even though the radar would still detect it, you wouldn't see it)? If the *bip* that indicated detecting something that isn't aircraft (since the Vanilla radar doesen't care if its infantry, tank or jet) you could just remove the sound

the above bomb is a 500lb GPB, the LGB Paveway II ingame is a 1000lb bomb. Main differences is size of the bombs (although in time we may be getting bigger/smaller GPBs and LGBs) and the arming time, with the GPBs having a much lower arming time.

Only if you want to remove the icons of your fellow teams tanks, apcs etc off the map. FYI its also possible to remove the "blip" sound, but the lack of fellow team vehicle icons, and also would have to be players to removed from the map, as well as your own icon removed, isn't really worth it...

1, I wouldn't rule it out. Also two seater jets already have them
2. I'm pretty sure that question has already been asked in this topic, or somewhere similar and the answer was you will have to wait and see...
