I have more important tasks than the HMMWV to work on. An Up-Armored HMMWV is not high priority at the moment, especially since there aren't equivalent vehicles in game yet to balance things.

Yea, you folks could do with the newly skinned USI Humvee until I finish my Up-armored HMMWV. The blame goes on the US Military constantly updating/upgrading the damn HMMWV. I had made a UV for it, but had to go back and update the model in a few areas. If my HMMWV ever makes it into PR it'll be the most detailed light vehicle in game.

Take your time. I'm sure it will be epic when it's ready!

Yep and along with the new MEC Vodnik and Chinese VN3, we should have a hell of a line up come version 9. I do feel bad for the British though, still with their 3 man open top land rover.

How many trys or polys do this HMMWV have?

The jackal is still open toped and in all pics i only see 3 guys in it. It looks to me like a uparmored land rover. ??:

Thats what it is, an up armoured Landy!! Yes there are only 3 guys, but its a lot more protection!

Also it looks badass!

In that thread is also some info on the ridgeback, mastiff, bulldog and panther Lots of cool stuff.

(mastiff and ridgeback are UK variants of the Cougar, and There is a picture of a mastiff with a gunner protection kit- which raises more questions in my mind!)

Anyways, going off topic.

Is there the possibility that the up armoured hummer would be entered in to the mod with the customary x.5 fix and optimise patch?

My HMMWV's a pretty detailed vehicle from its outside to its interior, so at the moment it's at 8000 Tris, but I'll be cutting down on it a little.
