When traveling on foot across long distances, conserve your stamina; sprinting is best used to reach cover in emergencies, quick maneuvering through cover or formations, and for reaching vehicles.
When leading an infantry squad, consider splitting your squad into two or more subteams and utilizing leapfrogging tactics in engagements, allowing your unit to both advance and fire accurately at all times.
Consider expanding your repertoire of phrases to use in a firefight, such as "Go, I'm covering", "Suppressing", and "Moving, cover me"; used properly, they can help raise your squad's tactical awareness and effectiveness.

Remember, when requesting an LZ to your chopper pilot, he is ultimately in control of where the chopper goes, so if he lands a few keypads away from your intended LZ do not rage at him, because most likley it was hostile fire or AA locks that made him maneuver to this new LZ.

Whilst engaging do not go prone on top of a hill, instead crouch just behind it. This way if you are wounded your body will fall into cover and the medic will be able to revive you without having to smoke or wait for the enemy contacts to be killed.

- If in doubt, retreat, dont start a firefight you cant win, work out a new angle of attack.
-Always check you map for friendlies near your position this will help you to avoid Teamkills.
-Keep in mind that Attack chopper cost 10 tickets, mark the enemy position before calling CAS.
-Teamplay is the key to victory.keep in mind that and you will have more chances to win than your enemy.
-Dont shoot if not necessary , you may give your SQ position away.
- Remember ROE does applies in Insurgency maps. Dont shoot civilians or unarmed personnel.

Agreed
"If you are manning the mortars, double check there are no friendlies at or near your target. The squad that called in the strike might not have communicated this to the rest of your team."
No, not speaking from experience

- Take your time planning the next move.
- If your squad is getting destroyed, let friendly squads and vehicles know, that you are in need of assistance.

PR isn't about who kills who, or how many kills you acquire. Ultimately, it's down to team work. Don't shy away from using a support role, albeit: Transport or Mortars. Your team will appreciate the support from a dedicated team.

Preferably, always operate with other squads and assets, so you are never in a situation you are getting destroyed, but rather the enemy must retreat.

If you don't know how to fly vehicles, don't fly them in public servers. Use local servers.

-Don't flood your VOIP channel when it's not needed! But, use it for when you see anything, like infantry, APCs, Choppers, etc. (friendly or hostile), not for what kind of pizza you are eating that night.

If you see a target that hasn't see you or your squad, don't just open fire. Inform your SL and await instructions.
