Well, showing the kill/death counter can show who is losing all the tickets on your team, or making the other team lose tickets

It's not THAT old of a post

so only let the commander see it, that way he can command and give the fail squad new orders.

Please remove the 'scoreboard' and let people focus on the meat & bones of the game.

"We need CAS over here!" "Rodge, en route!" "Good hit, we got 'em! Infantry move in" "We got the flag!"

Not:

"We need CAS over here!" "Rodge, en route!" "AWESOME I GOT 7 KILLS" "Wow, how'd you just die?" "Was too busy waving my willy at the scoreboard and got shot down..."

I'm still wordering, are devs going to do it, or no.
I think it would be big step forward for GP in PR.

Did any of devs even think about it ?

That's a very open statement, and doesn't have much substance.

The scoreboard is already team play orientated by awarding points for building and transporting... But in a game where those points aren't tallied anywhere (for the better imo), why do we need them at all?

I don't care if my score is 300 or 3000 at the end of the game so long as I know I've ferried lots of squads to where they need to be and not lost loads of assets for my team.

I do however care if I keep spawning and dieing, and can visibly see that on the scoreboard; if I couldn't see it, I wouldn't care.

Only show scores at round end

This is the best one out of the rest as at the end of the day it is a game and ppl wont get to distracted from the scoreboard while ingame

Which kind of means that the score board makes people more cautious. Seeing they have alot of deaths could make them think "oh, i better smarten up or come up with a new tactic/strategy"

1) Signifies and gives recognition to squads who build fobs + most APC drivers (usually end up near the top) who have helped the team at the end of the round.

2) This is somewhat made redundant by the fact that dying and giving up a lot hurts your team ticket-wise and this is seen through the teams ticket count. I like being able to see the scoreboard if I have a negative KD, gives me a way to tell myself to get stop hurting my team by dying a lot.

3) The scoreboard is useful from a commander and SL's perspective, it shows If a plan or attack is not achieving a good KD and therefore can be changed. It again shows what squads are dying a lot, in what part of the map. It gives the commander more intel on where to move squads, or If other squads are getting wiped out, I need to move my squad there to support them.

My personal opinion, is that the scoreboard should stay, although tweaks should be made to make it more squad orientated, or maybe show how many tickets a squad has taken from the other team.

1088 people have voted, and ~68% agree that the score board should be all together removed or changed to reflect teamwork better.

Does the PR team plan to actually make any changes?

As has been said multiple times before, the devs make the game the way they want it, not what the public wants.

So if they haven't commented on its pretty doubtful.

men maybe i will be a bit rude, then i sorry.

but this sugestion has be on the forum from times to times, so there is not a way to make a try and see what changes in a Beta verison?

you kwon one of those 0.87a, 0.87b. 0.87c and 0.87d just to be assured that will make things better?

hoever, insuniating that Teamwork is the ONLY PURPOSE OF THE PR IS A LIE,

because even for a game that make's it one of the main porposes of game still having other aspects has well.

what can i say, it may be a great strategy game, in the terms of having alot of RTS concepts inplend in the game, but it still a shooter. i some people would like to say how is boss sometimes, even if well that has useless for reallife and THE GAME.

to me PR is the actual ultimet combo of RTS and Shooter the two tipe types of game i actual love ALOT, i also play a few RPG but no MMO not actualy at last.

wtf.

regards

Its not a democracy. How many people do you think considered the question for longer than a minute before voting?

Suggestions are just that. Pitch the idea and let it go, if they like it they'll use it, if they dont they wont.

If i was able to i would remove the score at all. So you cant see it at all, the only thing i will keep is the best squad.

Sometimes the best squad wasn't really helping the team at all.

Why? Most of the things you get points for in PR are things that benefit your team.
