I'll try to get someone to deal with this, but the fact is they aren't violating their server agreement - PR doesn't require that they have contact info, nor that they have good reasons for banning people. My opinion is you should simply not play there.

*edit* After checking their forums, this seems to be a problem of your own (collective) devising. I have not been impressed with the professionalism of HOG admins in the past, but if they're banning you for being jerks on their server it's your own problem.
We know they aren't violating the agreement, and I know we should be posting this on their site. But the fact is, we can't. They won't let us.

As far as the problem being on our end: I would gladly sit down with any decision maker they have and try to find out where the problem lies. I have a strong feeling it was our previous leader but I don't know and he has been gone for some time. Matter of fact, we only have 4 people from that time frame left, the rest were removed from the clan or left because of the Dicktatorship.

I'm just here to ask for a talk between myself (leader of TAR) and whom ever is in charge of HOG. Nothing more... I have yet to ask for a ban lift, especially since I don't know who or why it was there in the first place.

As I didn't find any forum in their homepage, I'll post here.

10 minutes ago I got kicked out by admin Funeral-Director. Reason: asset theft.
I joined the server, joined USMC (Muttrah) saw a locked one man huey squad (with Funeral-Director) in it. Spawned on the carrier to see how many hueys there are. Three idle hueys. Why shouldn't I make a trans huey squad to support my team?

You're rules (=HOG=: PR Server Rules) don't regulate this situation. It's stated: "No duplicate or one man squads this may result in a kick." So in context it means that an admin who was breaking the rules himself, kicked someone who was breaking a rule* to help the team.

* What's the point of the rule "No squad duplication" - to prevent asset stealing, e.g., so that the squad get to use their said assets. But there were a lot of hueys, so what's the point of enforcing this rule if I wasn't doing any damage?

Also - there were no warnings.

Bad admining. Bad.

Harrison, I have been told that your IP address was cleared and that you should be able to post. It was my understanding that you were cleared last week and that someone was supposed to have told you that. I'm not sure what happened though, as I wasn't there. The admins you will want to talk with will be Blazensadlies, Alan, Nelson, Linkman or myself. Linkman is our leader, but he has been offline for a while building his new house, so he may not be completely up to date on everything that happened. But Blaze, Alan and Nelson are up to date and they would be the best persons to talk to on this. I am not a senior admin, I am a Moderator. I will try to help as much as possible though. I won't be online until Wednesday evening though, so hopefully we can schedule something around a time that I can be there.

Mouthpiece, I'm uncertain as to why you got kicked. It's possible that Funeral Director was trying to do other things and didn't see your request to join. He follows the server rules to the letter though. I've known him for years. He would not have created a single man asset squad for any reason. It's possible that he had other members in his squad who left to help the team on the ground until the team had gained enough of a foot hold to redeploy back to the Huey squad. It's impossible to know for sure what led him to be alone in that squad. But, when you took matters into your own hands and decided to do your own thing, I know he would have kicked you for that. About your trouble getting onto the forums. We check the registrations regularly, usually several times daily. Please check again to see if your registration went through. If not, post back with the user name you signed up with. Here is the link:

Played on HOG muttrah 24/7 server once (once because server is in USA, i am in UK and ping is killing me) and first i've got when muttrah map loads was a kick from 2 squads(reason was because....).After finally i got in a squad, and after lot of verbal attacks from the respective SL's and other players (smart jokes like u're gay), the teamswitching nightmare began(switched 2 or 3 times). Didnt know that asking a SL to motivate a sq kick can disturb him so much.
Now, I know that 1 round is far from enough to get a proper opinion about a server, but for me, that round was far from a nice experience.
Sry for this feedback not being what u expected, i played only once and im not gonna risk again.
Cheers

Sorry to hear your experience was less than enjoyable. Sometimes, though, there just isn't any way of controlling individuals' inabilities to play maturely. We try, but we can't be everywhere nor hear everything. We do monitor the chat logs and keep notes on individuals who clearly have trouble communicating and are acting like morons, but we don't catch stuff done in squad chat unless we're present or it gets reported. But, in some cases, we just can't do anything. After all, there are no rules anywhere that say a person has to stay team oriented, it's just recommended. There are no rules that say everyone must be 'straight as an arrow,' 'morally enlightened,' 'orally eloquent,' nor have a 'virtuous and honorable character.' We just hope people are. I won't ask you to give us another try, that is totally your choice. But I will apologize to you for as much as I can be responsible. Good luck in your search to find a server that better caters to your needs!

Exactly the same problem with RuleZ. Banned on their server = banned on their forum.
But their Feedback thread is closed by request. Probably to many negative feedback :p

Hey! Why don't you make the 24/7 Muttrah server into a 24/7 Kokan server? Or both maps?

Just suggesting!

yes i always think the same...but last games was totally unbalanced...

HOG?s i know its too funny play with clanmates all together... but mates remember the games of this weekend noobs vs HOG team. SPNF had the bad luck to was on the noob side in all rounds and we finished crying...

I miss the old rounds with two good teams.

Anyway good work making a mumble room for the server...

with adition of mumble, we hope it will balance the teams a bit. the key in =HOG= wining against the pubbies is ventrilo. we use it all the time, and the information is passed rather quickly. mumble will give the same option to the oposite team, especialy the squad leader radio channel.

New rule - something like - Don't be an idiot? Common sense logic something like this, I was just playing on the HOG server the whole armor squad was sitting in one spot standing on there APCs dicking around, Normally when I play there, the team I get selected to play on is got a bunch of dumbasses that don't know what there doing, its very frustrating.

Sorry for you bad experience. Next time you see things like that, get an admins attention (vent, mumble), and we will deal with it.
