Similar to the Open Beta?

What is actually the real name of the song vietnam_menu.ogg located in the pr_beta files?
Would like to play it myself on the guitar. :p

No, 1.0 will work as every other release. So exactly like in 0.98 you will have dozens of servers hosted by all kind of different communities and clans.

Battlefield 1.0 questions: Were any of the previous maps navmeshed for bots and are any of the 6 new maps navmeshed? Also, were there any updates for the Vietnam addon that will be in 1.0?

In addition to what melon said, the bots are quite clever, the map layouts awesome, and PRSP is generally much more fun than ever ;)

Really great job there!

Will we ever see a download page for the older versions of PR like .5? Then clans could organize "nostalgia matches" and for some of us who never played the old versions we could check them out and see how PR used to be.

Has there been a performance increase since the beta? I'm a little worried i may be playing with 15 fps.

We added a View Distance Slider to the Launcher.
So you can lower the view distance if you can barely run PR.
But you have to live with the disadvantages though.

Thanks for that and i don't mean to be a prick but you didn't quite answer my question.
What i meant was has there been any more optimizing since the beta or is PR mumble now using less of my cpu?

There's a massive difference (at least for lower-end pc's) if you compare beta day 1 with beta day 7. I couldn't play the beta properly on day 1, but as stuff got updated (especially the launcher), fps increased a whole bunch for me.

AD is right, performance was increased during the beta and afterwards a bit already.

In general, 1.0 requires still a bit more performance than 0.98 to run fluently though.

The thing is that many people still had major FPS drops in the last day of the beta. For me it was still unplayable and while I average 45fps in 0.981 I was playing with 5-20 in last day of beta. I though you promised it's going to run just as smooth as 0.981 and that things are going to get better since the beta...

So what was the big feature that 1.0 was held up by?

I think 1.0 open beta actually required less perfomance than 0.98, becouse I played on a 64 player server and it run way more better than 0.98, but in 100 player servers it was the same as in 0.98. And let's not forget that everything looks way better than before(more detailed maps, better effects and sound).
Great job, guys!

I guess 64p servers will still be available in 1.0 so you can play on them with no difference in fps from 0.98 but with better graphics and gameplay.
