I just dont like that the AK47 sounds like the 74, its a but silly.

It should sound more like a RPK47, sound 7,62 vs 5,45 should not have same sound

Yeah, these sounds add depth to the guns and they are as they should be - loud and killing your speakers

the l85 has waaay too much echo imo and is much bassier than it should be, the 0.3 version was definately better there.

the SVD seems a bit loud, and perhaps the echo is a bit much too, it seems more like a proper sniper rifle instead of a DMR

the G3 has a really annoying 'chink' noise at the end of firing, I'm sure its supposed to be there, but it is very annoying, it could be toned down the MP5 also has this issue, I'm sure its the sound of the bolt coming back, but its on the painful side of high pitched

the MG3 has a strange echoy cough noise at the end of firing, dunno what that is

like the 50cals very much and most of the other sounds too

though the footsteps still seem very loud

the explosions are really great

is it like a pop after the firing sound completely stops as in the sound file stops playing, i get that on the M-16 and M4

I disagree, I like the loud echoes, it makes the guns sound like guns, not like overpowered cap guns. I just played with the sounds, and OMG you have amazed me. I have one suggestion, add more sonic cracks, I really liked them.

I think this is more realistic.Wouldn't you think that a larger rifle round would echo more than a pistol round?Yes, it's unbalanced, but if you ask me, more realistic.If everything echoed the same, a pistol sound would sound like it has as much power as a large rifle round.

I used the words arbitrarily, consistency and standardisation, not 'every gun should have the same'

currently teh l85 has more echo than the AR15 rifles - arbitrary imo

consistent and standard, I'd say it would be easiest just to have teh same echo for all weapons of similar calibre, the SVD for example would surely have a similar echo to the M14, both are 7.62 with long barrels, so surely it should be similar? I know other things would probably affect the volume of a round being fired, like type of ammunition, but to keep things simple - I'd just go via calibre apart from with pistols and smgs ofc.
