The few times Ive been here because my community's server been empty where nice gameplay wise. But currently theres a few admins who are having a bad day. You are not allowed to say anything in the chat because its clogging it up.

Telling people that they are annoying them and everything. Very strict all chat policy so watch it when you come on here. I'd say its a negative point. Im all for restricting talking about what not, but if its game-related and only happens for a small minute I wouldnt jump it the way they just did. Spoils the atmosphere for me.

Hey Cyberzomby- was nice to see you on the server today, and i'm glad you had some nice teamplay.
In regards to the All chat policy i'm hoping to get some clarification on it, and i'll get back to you soon.

Cheers

Maybe the best overall server in PR, usually full of people, rules are just the way they have to be and are uphold as such. Strict policy is fine, and the admins always clean the game up when online. I've never gotten into trouble with the admins, even though I managed to (unwillingly) fool around in the beginning. (Guess that "Sorry" commo really can save you)
The map cycle is good, only that every time I connect either the map underway or the one next is the Muttrah City :D Guess that's just bad luck.

In a nutshell, an all-around public server, highly recommended.

Get a grip man i only said you were annoying me which was the truth. I was trying to deal with someone else and you suddenly decided to be spokesperson for your team. The clogging up of the global chat had nothing to do with you and yet you added to the problem instead of just being quiet, was that so hard for you to do?

tbh this server feedback thread sometimes is a joke with people just using it to vent frustrations at something that happened and i'll quote you here "for one small minute"

I'll offer you the same deal i've offered other people seeing as how you were so offended earlier. Vent and admin rights for one day to see how much nonsense we have to put up with on a daily basis. Then you can deal with stuff that only happens for a small minute.
Fact is you are basing your review on a small, no make that tiny portion of our server time.
Way to be objective.

Glad you enjoy playing with us, and thanks for the reccommendation. One of the problems we get with our server is that it likes to crash a lot, we are hoping to have this problem solved within the next few days, as it is a popular map, Muttrah is near the start of all our map sets, hence why you may seem to play it a lot.

Glad you enjoy playing with us Dempsey, we are hoping to alleviate the large population (through distribution) soon to allow people to get on easier.

Attitude like this kinda putts me off with all the loveley feedback in this thread. Also the fact that i called an *** twise (even after I explained my actions: Driving in away in a landrover while under-fire) by crashoverride911.

I was not the spokesperson. Only wonderin why you where yelling at people for saying 1 thing in the chat.

Sure! Give me admin status. Its not like Im not used to it. admin rights on my own "home"server. So I know all you have to deal with on a particular unlucky evening of gamin.

I am very much basing my review on a small fraction of time like I said myself. But the fact of the matter is, in that small portion of time I had more negative stuff happen by UKWF's own, than by public people. EG: Shouting to people chatting in all chat or even team chat, and get called an *** twice for trying to safe my, my squadleaders and the jeep tickets.

Yes, I maybe should not have posted this here, but I put a little thought in it, and I just wanted to point out a little flaw in the otherwise great server. Hot headed clanmembers. Im just really put off by the tone of your reply and the replys in game. This thread has almost nothing but excellent feedback. If there is a person doing for what you are blaiming me, he gets handled niceley by the lead admins of UKWF. But it seems some of the regular members of UKWF have a different mind or attitude on aproaching negative feedback. Justified or not.

Hello UKWF! I just tried joining your server when it was at 62/64 (1 reserved slot) and it told me I was banned for excessive teamkilling. I don't remember teamkilling ever - but if I did, my apologies.
I hope this can be solved!

We believe you may have been accidentalty banned (most likely due to an admin mis typing.) but your ban is not currently on the ban list.

@Cyber i'll get back to you soon grabbing some dinner.

Cyber had a long chat with Smiley this evening, and several things where discussed of which the following was concluded,

  • Whoever they are players shouldn't be abusive towards others.
  • Clan members will be kicked for being abusive.
  • If clan members are abusive and not kicked-please inform us.
  • Please leave admins to sort out problems without interfering.
  • Try to keep all chat to a minimum to allow relevant team/squad chat text to be read.
  • Do not ask how many tickets the other team has it was removed for a reason.
  • We are not attempting to personally attack anyone, even if we are using caps!, we are trying to nip problems in the bud before they develop.
  • Most of our admins are Human!, and most administrate for several hours a day which they have been doing so for about 5 years, which after many hours in turn leaves them open (as much they don't want to it to) to human emotions, which is unfortunately sometimes anger, and may get pissed of from time to time, however this dosn't excuse them for abusing other members, and if you do think you have been abused-please take note of the above points-Especially the one above this.
Hope this clear's anything up Cyberzomby,

Cheers,

Shavid

I'm glad to see it's proving popular, if it's popular enough i'll put it on a 3:1 ratio with Quin'ling.

It does. It seems however that Smiley has a mix up. The only thing I asked was why others werent allowed to all chat. Even resisted to replying to his: are you done now? so it remained quiet.

Did not once ask about tickets, did not once spam after that. Not even when others where spamming. Just to clear it up :) I remember now that I only asked about next map once. Did not get a reply, and left it at that.

Just to clear it up :) and clear my name with you (and maybe even smiley) Thanks for taking the time to reply. Like I said earlier, the senior's do a terrific job here :) As most of the members are no doubt.

One of the biggest problems's with typing on the internet, is you are unable to here the emotion emmited in someone's voice, and read their face and body language, which leads to 99% of someone saying something being mis-interpreted.

Due to technical difficulties it has unfortunately been delayed-apologies. You may see it and other UKWF servers go up and down over the next few days generally with passwords on. This is as we set them up correctly, i'll try and get back to you on dates, but rest assured it is coming and i will update this page within hours of it going up if i can.

Due to the capabilities of Smartbalance on our new server (going live soon!) we are now able to add clans that play regullary on our server to the list which allows them to swap teams to that of those that are their clanmates."- if you want your clan to be added in advance to the server opening then please contact me via a private message,

Cheers

We have now moved server,
The new ip address is , 81.19.212.37 and the port is 16567. We are currently running a basic maplist but over the next few days we will be sorting it out, as well as making sure the rules and scrolling messages are correct.
Apologies to anyone who was affected by the change over.
Our server is now in the UK so hopefully most of you will be getting a better ping than before.

If you have any questions please feel free to ask, otherwise see you on the battlefield.

For those of you wondering, our insurgency server should be up soon.

Information on map sets on all the servers and extra details will be posted over the next few days. We hope to have our Insurgency and Standard server fully running by the end of the week.

"now in the UK" where was it before? Never noticed any ping problems :)
Shavid knows I love it; great server, get on when I can.
Generally a mature server with great teamwork; and of course the fun moments like the other night's "BRAVEHEART" scene haha.
All the members are sound and decent guys, and smiley does get grump sometimes but we still love him.
