HOG?s i know its too funny play with clanmates all together... but mates remember the games of this weekend noobs vs HOG team. SPNF had the bad luck to was on the noob side in all rounds and we finished crying...

I miss the old rounds with two good teams.

Anyway good work making a mumble room for the server...
Personally, I don't wanna be on your team. You SPNF guys are hard to kill, and a good challenge!!! So don't cry ;)

Hey, I've just got banned from the server for "sniping into MEC base".

This is untrue and I'd like to get unbanned, so here's the proof, I was at ~A12K8, the old Muttrah's A7K5 from the guide.

I was sniper and the MEC base is fogged from there! No way I could snipe or even spot from this place. I had only one kill from like 7 minutes ago and since USMC was pushing hard I decided to move onto spotting cause I hadn't many targets to kill anyway.

Please reconsider, nick AuliX, thanks

As per the server feedback forum rules, go to HOG's own forums for ban appeals: =HOG=: News

Yes but there's no place to appeal the ban so my infraction is unfair. There's no forum or anything on the HOG site or even an email to appeal my ban!

Yes, HOG's site is quite a challenge to use, I've tried myself in the past and been very annoyed. However, from the front page:
You must register with the forums to post or see any thing on this site
You have to register in order to see their forums and post. Please do so, if you continue to use these forums you will be infracted.

HOG really stands for Hardcore Older Gamers? I find it quite immature to kick without a warning. It's the second time I've been kicked w/a warning for duplicating a squad. I'm complaining here because you have to register to complain in their forums. And my huge disrespect won't let me do it.

First time I got kicked out from this server by duplicating a huey squad. Why did I duplicate it? Because the =HOG= guy in the huey squad didn't even answer me when I politely asked him to open the squad (64/64, and one huey).

Ok, maybe the admin made a mistake or something. NOT. Today I thought I'd give the server a second chance. Joined it -> USMC -> I see a locked 2 man AAV squad with an admin in it. I politely ask them to open up. No answer. I make a second AAV squad thinking that 2 heavy assets can't be used only by two people (again 64/64 players). They kick me without a warning. I didn't even find a 2nd crewman, nor did I jump in an AAV. Whattha...?! Maybe you should include this as a rule so admins could do this "legaly" and my "complaints" would be useless?

And, admins, what's with the lack of communication?! Is kicking people without giving a warning first is an autoerotic thing for you?

Please don't consider this post a complaint/appeal. I don't even want to reason with these guys (seeing their communication skills). I'm just warning other mature, devoted PR gamers - if you want to use assets (even if they're not taken) stay away from this server.

well, before playing on a server, its a good thing to read the server rules first. especialy when you play PR. the rules are there for a reason.

ok so you make a duplicate squad and get kicked for it. you want to give us a second chance, and what you do? brake the rules again.

we dont encourage one man locked squads, so a one man huey squad probably means a lot of pilots crashed a bunch of choppers, and the SL decided he wont risk any more assets and do the job himself. i see this happen almost every day. 2 man AAV squad? well it is not against the rules to have that. maybe they wanted to leave the second one in reserve, in case they loose the first one.

non responsive admins? well, we try to play the game too. sometimes when youre in a firefight, you dont have the time to read every line of chat. the best way to report anything is to hop on our mummble channel, and contact an admin via squad leader radio chat

its easy to blame someone else for the mistakes you made. if it was me online, i would probably give you a warning and kick you if you dont respond, but its still not an excuse for you to brake the rules

PR is about communication with others and about beeing responsive. I almost always check if the person I'm talking to is not engaged (you can't be 100% sure from the map, but, yeah, trying is better than nothing).
I red some earlier posts in this topic about problems with some new(er) HOG admins who maybe wasn't used to admining therefore sometimes abused the rules. I hope it's all sorted out, because the admin has to be players best friend. I stopped playing in =H= server because it seemed like someone's a bit abusive of their rights (e.g., got a kick for accidental smoke granade in main). IMHO, almost everyone's a reasonable person if you're trying to talk with him in a reasonable way.

Mistakes I made? I did know the rules - I read them when I was kicked for the first time. So that wasn't a mistake, because I disobeyed on purpose. But what I did provoked a situation that AGAIN showed that this rule is quite absurd. Rules should constantly be chalanged, reviewed and interpreted. Why do I think that this rule should be changed? I'm gonna try my best to explain. I understand the idea that's behind the rule: you should not steal assets that belong to someone else. And I totally agree. But the nature of this rule, plus, the possibility of human error (for example, an admin that doesn't listen to others or an admin with a happy kick-finger) can sometimes expand into bigger problems. The situation we're talking about is one of the "bad" examples. I myself like to use APC's in a locked 2 man squad: always clear comms, and you can talk to others in mumble; that's why I'm tended to making my own squad. And I don't see a problem with it only exept when the squadlimit (9/9?) is full - than the two APC squad can easily merge to make room for INF or something. In most of the servers I play (PRTA, UKWF, TG, NWA) It's not against the rules to have 2 APC squads. And It works out suprisingly great (no unnecessary kicks) - these two squads share the named asset. In muttrah it would work like this: each squad gets one AAV and whoever "wastes" it first get's the APC that's gonna respawn first.
I have no authority and no motivation to make a topic about "rule change" in your forums, but you seem like a reasonable guy :>

I want to ask you something unrelated. Do you cross the street by red light if there are no cars around?

/excuse my engrish

I can relate to this. They don't reason what so ever at all. They're a bunch of egotistical retards who don't listen to reasons and only resort to kicking. I am not going to sit here and whine about it all day but it's ridiculous. Muttrah City round is about to start and i play as the US and joined a huey transport squad. Once the countdown finished i got the pilot kit, got to the huey, and took a quick piss. After i got back i see a guy who says "drop us off at docks" i am assuming that these people are in my huey because the other hueys are taking off. So i drop them off at the docks and got back to carrier and these HOG admins start complaining how i didn't drop them off at the triangle in north city. I told them why i didn't know where they wanted to go. I offered to take them to the triangle and as i took off and flew to the docks i got kicked and was told to go to an infantry squad while i was flying. (So much for strict rules on assets) Got back in the server and told these old virgins off. Rather your right or wrong, you'll get banned or kick. I'd like to point out that these admins are hypocrites and like to contradict themselves a lot as well.

Hey, can't get in to the =HOG= forums to appeal a ban so I'm giving it a shot here. A few minutes ago I was playing on the 24/7 Muttrah server in an MLTB squad and we had just been taken out by a Cobra. I had 6 kills as gunner and that 1 death but upon respawn the server notice told me I was being Banned for Teamkilling even though I had not teamkilled. Please revoke the ban. (Ingame name |Jimmy_Sm@ck| )

Thankyou

LOL,

I would not play on this server even if they pay me. I have to admit, there is some TW sometimes, but most of the time just random lonewolfing with sniper and HAT kits.

If you want TW, go to the TG server....

This is feedback for the HOG 24/7 Muttrah server.....

I do not suggest playing on HOGS servers. After taking a 3-4 month break, I fired up PR today joined 24/7 HOG Muttrah, and within 5 minutes, **** was just like it use to be when I left.

22v22, squad 2 was led by HOG Mr.Clean, alone in a locked Huey squad. I asked him several times if he would unlock Huey squad.... no reply. I waited roughly ten minutes.... waited for him to land, asked again. After being ignored over 15 times..... and ten minutes I made my own Huey squad because there were several request for crates/transport and Mr. Clean could not keep up. I am not a noob pilot and have flown since PR came out.

I was immediately kicked for making a 2nd Huey squad. Well maybe if the idiot would unlock his squad and quit hogging 4 helicopters people wouldn't have to make other squads.

Just want to say HOG does the same **** they always do, hoarde vechicles, treat others like ****, and play favoritism games.

Well scree HOG and see ya on the ]CIA[ Servers, they are much better.

P.S- After reading some previous pages, I found MANY other people experiencing the same thing.... Admins sitting solo in Huey squads..... Seems to me they do this on purpose to bait people so they can use admin powers.

In my experience, when the server is full, the USMC needs can be met by 2 pilots. Often times when I fly (especially after the first FOBs are built) the lull in action for a huey pilot is nearly unbearable. (The majority of SLs, myself included, do not use the huey sq to there full potential.) That said, if I am the SL of the huey sq, I keep the sq to 2 pilots. I never consider "how many helicopters are on deck".

In regards to my standard of 2 huey pilots, allow me to explain. If there are more pilots than needed, am I not doing a disservice to the rest of the team? Shouldn't I as a SL be willing to put my foot down when I feel it's best for the team? I understand PR is a game, something we do for leisure. However, this game (I feel) has a heavy emphasis on teamwork. With teamwork in mind, shouldn't we the player, be willing to what's best for the team as a whole? If you can not fly (for a number of reasons; joined mid-way through the round, someone made the sq before you, etc...) perhaps joining an infantry sq and running the medic kit or riflemen kit best suits the need of the team. Our server runs Muttrah 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. There are always more opportunities to fly :)

I think if you took the time to meet us, you would not think so harshly of us. We encourage public players to join us in vent. We welcome it. I understand it can be upsetting to be on the receiving end of a kick/ban. I can tell you, that our admins (I am not an admin) generally do not like to kick/ban people. I have never seen on our forums or heard in vent an admin boast after having kicked/banned someone. I have however, seen public players thank our admins after removing a disruptive player. That last statement is not leveled at you Swatius, rather an illustration of how players appreciate fair play for all.

I would encourage anyone, who feels disgruntled after having been kicked/banned or having had this happen to them in the past join us in vent. If you see me in vent, put my name in your comment (BucNasty00). I promise that I will stop playing, to assist you (the gamer) in getting answers. Whether the question be regarding a ban, explanation of the rules or better yet, if you just want to join our vent to meet the "villains". As a disclaimer, I am not an admin. So I will have to do some running around in order to find the most correct answer to whichever question is asked.

I apologize for the lengthy text, I did not set out to write a novel. :P Ultimately what I'm trying to say is, consider the big picture. What's good for the goose is not necessarily good for the gander. Understanding the rules of the =HOG= server is one of many steps to having a successful and enjoying round of PR.

Here is a link to the server rules: =HOG=: Invalid page

Again, any questions please please please (!!!!!) stop by our vent. I'm a game addict, I'm almost always online. (Our vent info can be found on the left side of the page after clicking on the above link)

Amazing stupid server
So
1) Admin dont understand what is apc, what is BTR, what is BMP, what is MTLB.
SO they just named squad "BTR" and they think that they will use all vehicles in squad with 5 people
2) Admin squad take special kits(sniper, heavy antitank, antiair). So only 2 crewmans.
3) We called our squad APC and take 1 stupid apc with 7.62 gun.
4) Admin try ban guy, who was in apc with me, but he write nickname wrong and random man from a nother team was banned :D
5) I write "ADMIN fail" in chat
6) i become ban with reason "FAIL THIS *******"

I remember you !!! I would like to comment on your statements.

1) Wrong !!! We tell players (like you) all the time to be squad specific when it comes to heavy assets.
2) I'm not sure what you mean, but special kits are not restricted. Not even if you are in a BTR squad.
3) You are right !!! You called your squad APC and broke the "no duplicate squad" rule. (Not the first time you do that).
4) Wrong !!! You were warned about NOT to make a duplicate squad and to return the vehicle. But you didn't listen, and when admin tried to ban you guys, an innocent player was banned.
5) Indeed you did. As far as i remember, you even put a smiley at the end of the sentence.
6) Right again. You didn't take the time to read the rules, or listen to admins. And if you think it is funny when innocent players get banned, i am convinced that you are the kind of player we don't want on our server.

Personally, i hate when we have to remove players from our server. But do yourself (and others) a favour : Next time you want to play, take your time and read the rules. All the best to you in the future !!!

Next take it to their forums not here, the PR team or any member on here doesn't want to get involved.

I need to calm down? Man, all I did was write a story about what happened to me, how on earth was my post aggressive? It was a report lol.

Second, this particular thread is the =HOG= server feedback thread, and previously mentioned on this thread, this IS were we are meant to bring up issues. Also, if you cared to read this thread, you would have found out that it is impossible to register on the =HOG= forums, therefore this thread has been used for such issues in the past.

I find it very funny that you (a stranger) reads my ban report and comes across all profound as if you are a psychologist saying that I DO need to calm down and that my tone says a lot lol.

I've been using internet forums and BBS' since the 90's, just because I only have 4-5 posts doesn't give you the right to automatically think I am a noob that has an attitude problem. I have owned and been a moderator for various forums over the last 2 decades, I know your kind, your looking browny points on the forums and you want to look like a good boy for the MODs to see in order for you to become a MOD yourself.

It certainly doesn't seem that way when you say this:

Follow the HOG ban appeal protocol and sort it out here.
