well, the netherlands seam to be good at fighting pirates (in opposit to us germans obviously, don't know, if its been on your news, but netherlands soldiers freed a german ship, thats been captured by pirates)

it would indeed be pretty cool to have the dutch korps mariniers subfaction on this map
map is taking to take good shape, I'm only curious on the rebel uncapable base on the other side of the cargo ship

no, factions will not be chosen until...really the map is done. I dont normally worry about it as its PR has the factions I want great, if it doesnt yet then I work with what I got. For all my tests I'm using US vs Insurgents which sorta closely match the loadouts of what the map should have.
Also for those that were fan of my old Korengal "asset reward system" this map will have the same. And being a large map I will try to incorporate a large amount of "fun" assets. The more and more I work on it I dont think I will be making this a INS gamemode. Instead I will be looking into random CP's
For example BLUFOR assets(only a example):
CP Order:
BLUFOR carrier: (minimal starting assets: a small chopper and allot of PT boats)
Random 1-4 cargoship CP (Medium size choppers)
Eyl Fishing village (light vehicles supports)
Random 1-4 land based CP (Ship based APC supports)
Desert landing strip (some sorta jet)
City of Ely (end)

dont think anybody else than russians got Mi28 helos, but a piper, cessnar, or something similar for somalis would be cool

That sort of system really makes it a point to capture flags. As it stands, we just zoom around and capture insigficant hills and/or villages.

Hopefully this weekend I'll post up my experimental boat for the Somalians and a tweaked BLUFOR boat which should allow when exiting a boat to exit on top of it instead of in the water and allow you to throw a grappling hook from the boat.
There are allot of thing to do to get this map going.
