so basically after the server being criticized for weeks,they decided to just ban criticism. which is pretty effective when you want to avoid it

But yesterday Merk, now on F|H. Consider yourself no longer welcome on our server. Done with your childish ....... grow up! I sort of disagree with the "stop the voting" part, but it strongly depends on the players. If you run a vote between 3 lesser-played but good maps, the players will usually have a feeling of control (and are happy because of it), and you get to play underplayed maps.
On Merk we had a script (dunno if it is still active with 1.4) that randomised the maplist after server restarts/crashes, it came up with pretty good suggestions.

I am an infantryman myself, and can't get bored of it. That being sad, I understand that a big portion would like to ride a tank/chopper/over-sized pony to the battle, so yes, set asset maps aswell - just the ones that leave some room for infantry.

Couple of suggestions: Black Gold with city flags, Beirut, Burning Sands, Dovre, Fools Road, Khami, Nuijamma, Marlin, Pavlovsk, Sbeneh, Shijia, Ulyanovsk, Vadso, Xiangshan, Yamalia (? - there is very little that can stop an organised Mech inf assault on that map) - Also, Kashan inf can be pretty good aswell

When did admin standards get replaced by egos of server owners, this is ridiculous.

No over weeks of problems. But bring that discussion to Forgottenhonor.nl. This is not a ban appeal forum.

Who ever has a problem with a map, thats fine for you guys you can make a friendly suggestion if they don?t want to do it just accept it or get your own server.
You will never find a map where everyone says that is a great map.

in 1 week i made ONE sentence in all chat on your server. this sentence was neutral and objective in its tone. and it was while basically half the server was allchatting about map suggestions. but since the sentence came from me its now game ruining for others and spam and an instant ban threat against me.

If we dont do a mapvote, its the same result.

Tip of the day. Dont like the map then dont vote for it. Dont like the winner then dont play it.

The server was closed because the quality of play on it was not what PR stands for, I personally closed it because it brought the "hopefully" good name of F|H in danger. I like Rana as a person but he brings loners and trolls to the server just to fill it up, I even stopped playing on the server because there was nothing on it that made me love PR.

I hope people will join Merk or PRTA for a good experience and not join a server just because it has people on it. PR is great because of the rules we all love and the teamplay, keep that alive! F|H server sucked not because of a few .... in this thread, but because it lacked everything we "the vets" love about PR! And that is teamplay and communication!
