Making a Real Black Hawk Down Map PR and vBF2 (after PR version) Suggestions?

Yeh it'd be good if you can make a dawn and night version aswell like outlaw did with the other bhd map but after you've finished the day version
got another suggestion here is it possible to make an objective to blow the inside of the downed choppers up , like in the film?

So I cant pack the map. Its more or less ready for Open Beta or whatever. I cant pack it...
The INS spawn could use some work, but its not enough to warrent redoing lightmaps and stuff before I release it as the beta...or alpha.
I'm really annoyed that the editor wont pack it and its making me not care too much anymore. If anyone knows what to do, maybe I can zip the map folder up and someone can get it downloaded and packed? You can take half credit, i dont mind.
Also, youd be free to make any changes you saw fit... its not my map, its ours. if it ever gets out.

Hmm, I'll take a look at this... The tool I got was some collection of .bat files where i had to change codes and call-ups and stuff and it was just wicked confusing...
umm, by the way, anyone wanna give a suggestion as to how many RPGs I should put by the INS base? So far I have 6, i think, but that might be too many...
Also, one big thing I need to do is get the vehicle/weapons spawning set to PR time limits... Ive got the link to that thread bookmarked...

*edit* hmm, so that IS BF2 Pack. I'll take another look at it tonight or tomorrow, maybe it will make sense the second time...

Rhino, I think I need to get more sleep, more often. i just looked at it, and realized the part that was most confusing was the "Menu Atlas Setup"... no wonder that made no sense to me. I was wondering why the hell I was asked to edit things not even in my maps folder... Makes tons of sense now, I didnt know the packer was gonna have more than just map packing instructions.. My bad. Currently packing the map. Maybe it'll be done when I get back home tomorrow. Then I'll play it on local and then see how it looks.
Packed. Map crashes at 15% Objects. Maybe thats the end of Objects though. Are there any known objects I cant have in the map?

Is there a way to see, more specifically, what is making the map crash?

also, i dont know how to set up supply groups. i thoguht i found a link at one point, but cant find it now. i dont know what numbers to give each set to make them need to be captured in a certain order... i want the
For US order:
1) entry to city (has high value for Insurgents to cause massive ticket bleed on US if taken)
2) target building on its own
3) both crash sites
4) outer bakara (has high value for US, so it will cause the massive ticket bleed on Insurgents if taken)
and i guess opposite for the Insurgents in terms of capture order...

house_low_03_lod, im gonna look this up. But, if anyone knows why this wouldnt be working... let me know.. and is it supposed to be listen in overgrowth?
sorry. i think i know. I extracted the .6 object folders into my PR_edit objects folder to be read in the editor, but I dont think I put the actual updated zips in, but... house_low_03_lod seems like a generic bf2 house... hmm...
this is the house(one of many in the map...) why would it be crashing it? multiple times...

Spush, if i delete this house... there are a ton of them on the map, well, not a ton, but a lot... i guess i could replace it with working houses, but whos to say some other house wont crash it. Then itd just turn into some whack-a-house mapping frenzy...

i dunno if this might help but my maps sometimes crash with a similar message, but not buildings but textures....(or detail/colormaps i dunno exactly) i fixed it by copying the detailmaps or whatever from albasrah into my detailmap folder and overwrote anything and then it worked...
perhaps try this with your map... at first just copy this particular building into your mapfolder and then( if there are other buildings with the same error ) jsut copy the whole folder
OR: cause it seems to be an overgrowth prob at 15% either delete your overgrowth-folder or COMPILE overgrowth after you have placed some new (need not be many just a few) overgrowth anywhere on your map

I'll try the copy and paste idea. Its actually crashing at like 45% I think now... maybe even a bit more... and thats when it hits the building error.
