Just came back to PR after about 18 months out

Gone is my desktop rig - I now play on low settings on my Dell Inspiron 1720 laptop !

It works quite well, only addition is a Creative USB sound stick cos the built in SigmaTel thing sucks and I get out a 10 metre network lead to the modem to avoid using wireless!

i have most stuff on low, apart from geometry, if i have it any higher on mpas like muttrah, and fallujah, basically any urban map at some point during the match certain textures will go completely black, then eventually it crashes? only on urban maps though, i can play al basrah, archer fine?

Tried setting everything on low today, looked crazy :) Hard to believe I once played vanilla on such settings.

Everything on high, 1600x900 res, 100% view distance, 4x AA (cos 8x is pointless).

I love my new computer :D

Cod4 is monochromatic and hardly different to Cod2. Although it runs pretty well on average computers on good settings.

I'm on high but 1380x1050 or something because BF2 doesn't like widescreen. Not sure if they'll make new resolutions in 1.5, hope so.
