I love playing as insurgents they may not have all the fancy stuff but it is fun ambushing blufor, and the feeling when your squad takes down a APC is great.

Insurgents, it is more fun.

Insurgents ftw. Nothing like the feeling when your IED wastes a squad of BLUFOR or Marines.

I prefer the USMC I never play as the dumb insurgents..

i never really care i just try to play my best with what ever hand i am dealt i always remember this is just a game what we do in it has no affect on real life so i just sit back and have fun

If I have time, I play BLUFOR. If not (or I can't use my mic for some reason) I play INS. Both are fun.

Insurgent = someone who has taken up arms against enemy

Haji = Any brown/Arabic/non-white/non-American etc

It's really just a demonizing term that reduces regular non-insurgent people into objects to be killed because they are *only* hajis, not people with feelings or family members, etc.

Maybe go join the KKK so you don't have to limit your racist hate to "just hadjis"

Back on topic:

It's more fun to play as OPFOR when the BLUFOR is more organized, moving in convoys, using medics, etc.

Sitting on Archer with an RPG cover a road to the known cache is boring when the Canadians are all sitting at the castle.

There is actually nothing demonizing about the term hajji...in fact it is an honorary islamic term. Might not hurt to learn some culture and history before you start calling people racist.

It's how you use it.

I see that most people use covering reasons (don't ask why I just know), I think that they meant that they can't shoot with Iron Sights or can't play with armored support. I think that if they practice in using "old-fashion weaponry" they will choose for Insurgency.

I prefer BLUFOR, because of the teamwork, search-and-destroy objective gamemode, and asset availability.

I find when playing as OPFOR, even with friends; there's no teamwork. We have a squad to VoIP about funny kills, but we don't work together, I find the kits very bland, and the lack of assets just makes it a dull 15-minute-walk-before-being-shot-fest for me.

That said, I think I prefer INS mode over AAS.

I voted blufor, but I never mind playing as insurgent. I think the main problem with the ins-factions atm is that most people see them as some sort of sandbox faction, where normal teamwork and thoughtful gameplay don't apply. This usually results in badly organized ins-teams, which leads people into disliking the insurgent teams. Even on the good servers the ins-teams usually suffer from people not getting their heads togheter. And yes, I know the ins are supposed to be a wreckless and suicidal force, but that doesn't mean they shouldn't put some effort and thinking into place. Right now, people just fan out over the maps, leaving lots of holes in the defense, and don't get the full picture of where the blufor is manuvering because they don't have any recon or spotters. The rounds I have played as ins with good intel on the blufor and insurgent warrioirs able to react to it quickly have always given good results. In one particular round, the blufor got so frustrated with the efficient spotting made by our collaborators that they started shooting them, resulting in them not getting any intel on caches. I've seen it the other way around too; playing against a good ins-teams as blufor is a real b*tch!
