i think you can use glows for that but i think there was special lights for runways ... SirCommandant did one thats for sure ... maybe you ask him

the windmills (not really sure if its the right word for these, correct me if I'm wrong) are from BF2EF right?? looks all great, even though the minimap looks a bit unnatural with the hard borders between rocks and snow

yes they are and they do turn.
i am currently working on fixing textures to make them feel more natural

im thinking of expanding the map a bit longer north and add a old abandoned airfield that was used before the new one was built. this will work as a russian airbase when they capture it.
im also planning for this to be a combined assult map with both Airborne and amphibious forces attacking. the navy forces will spawn on the russian cargoship while airborne forces will spawn on the dropzone. while the navy forces secure the beachheads the airborne secure the airfield so that the russian airforce can land their fighters and helis.
the Norwegian forces have to use the 3 CB90N boats that spawns in the SE corner to take the new airfield and the village.
the norwegians can also spawn at the NATO radar for the first 5-10 minuttes but after that they must rely on reinforcements by land to hold this point. Nato radar and the west cargoship will be out of the normal aas and can be capped at all times. if the russians capture radar they will be granted fighter and ground attack jets.
The team that holds cargoship will be granted boats and a position to place FoB and AA/AT defences.
on the Norwegian Airfield there will spawn 1 or 2 f-16, 2 bell-416, 2 logistic trucks, 3 transport trucks or m113.
on East road there will spawn Armor reinforcements in the form of : 2 leopard 2 a4 and 2 cv9030.
it is vital for the russian forces to capture the Main objective that is NATO radar and then capture the rest of the island.
(this is just an idea)
