This video looks pretty nice!
Now I have to buy AA 2 as soon as I can, but the second mod which I want to play is A.C.E 2 however PR mod is number 1 for me
Keep it guys, good work.
and a new processor might mean a new mobo which might mean a new PSU which might mean new RAM also new processor and graphics card migt mean you have to put in a new PSU and new coolers and you might as well just buy a new PCDredge wrote:You might just be able to upgrade. Processor and Graphics card should do the trick.
em man what you can expect from a 8600gt, i mean is not so badas gr.card but..arma 2 is arma 2 you cant run everything on high with your sistem...Innomadic wrote: I'm running a Dell inspiron, quad core 3.9GB Ram and a 8600GT graphics card by the way, and on low resolution and low quality graphics and it still has a framerate drop when trees and stuff get in the way. On a higher res, well basically anything higher and it runs so damn poorly its not funny.
I know that mate, but i'm just saying i can run ARMA 2 DEMO decently (on a low res), which is apparently absolute crud compared to the full game. And i'm wondering what difference there would be. Would i be able to run it on higher settings or would the framerate just be smoother at those same settings?***LeGeNDK1LLER*** wrote:em man what you can expect from a 8600gt, i mean is not so badas gr.card but..arma 2 is arma 2 you cant run everything on high with your sistem...

I can run it, just barely though. Just a tad above minimum settings. Thanks for the link, I have been saving for a new PC for awhile now. Perhaps I may get ArmA2 for this mod. Depends on the reviews when it's out.
I have an 8800GT in my other computer. It can run the custom island Isla Duala on high terrain and medium everything else with no lag and the graphics still look good.Innomadic wrote:I know that mate, but i'm just saying i can run ARMA 2 DEMO decently (on a low res), which is apparently absolute crud compared to the full game. https://www.realitymod.com/forum/f440-pr-arma2-general-discussion/77975-arma-2-faqs.htmlQ. Do mods work on the steam version?
A. Yes, there are a number of tutorials about the internet for doing this. The only real difference is the location where ARMA2 installs, (steamapps or whatever it is )
Ah ok thanks. Its a given that i won't run it on high, but at least i now know it will be better on the patches.Lanthan wrote:It´s not like you will be able to run everything on high if you can play the Demo only on very low. The full game with the patches are much smoother. Especially you should try to switch of post processing effects that gives you quite a lot of more frames per second. Maybe you will play it on medium settings. For sure you will be able to play the game much smoother on your current settings. Though this also depends where you are and how many stuff is put on the map by the map designer.
Great, playing vs bots feels like practice compared to a real game vs people who wont let you just repeat the same thing you did last time[R-DEV]STALKERGB wrote:We will focus on PvP![]()
