thanks mate, I appreciate the help If I have a few spare poly's left over at the end I'll model it. Here is a quick WIP, I'll nearly done, just got to finish off the turret , wheels, and back of the RV



On a side note, kudos to whoever designed the Type 87. It's beyond me why they stuck no less than eighteen identical handles at random points of the RV, but it sure makes my job easier

Another impressive and amazingly well done model from noobage! That was fast... With your help the JGSDF will be the most badass faction in PR.

Who's heading the JGSDF forces up? Was just wondering where your design plan was? very interested to see what you guys are up to.....

I don't know if it's because of the perspective of the picture, it looks like there is minor prblm of scales? no! I don't know, just the way it's looking (turret or front body too big?)

The Type 87 is scaled fine as far as I can see, second opinion anyone? I can see a few of the smaller objects are slightly off, but thats not a major problem, it should take a second or two to fix , but the main body and turret are fine imo

Aside, is anyone going to Unwrap that Type 90 MBT I made a while back? Just wondering...

I can't see any noticeable scale problems, so I'd say to just leave it as it is for now.
And I've been trying to learn how to unwrap, but it's not going too well....

Oh wow! I was just wondering if PR was ever going to get the JSDF and I stumbled across this! Nice work damn! I wish I could contribute but I don't have any skills. Is this faction going to get its own subforum soon?

First of all great work! The type87 looks realy, realy good! Cant wait to see the JGSDF in PR (would be my favorite faction)

HAT - Panzerfaust 3-T (Standard model with dual hollow charge warhead (designed to penetrate reactive armour)

The LAT is the Pz3, the HAT is the Type01 LMAT.

Also, seeing the changes made in PR 0.85, I understand why'd you want to give him a Minebea M-9, but IRL the M-9 is being phased out and is only used by high ranking officers, artillery crews, crewmen and Military Police. If they aren't issued to soldiers carrying LAT/HATs then what are they carrying with their Type01 and Pz3? Well, Type89s.

It was perhaps just the perspective! Look fine to me

no problem, I think that might have been my fault, as I accidentally changed the field-of-view before rendering so it may have looked a little warped in the render. Thanks anyway for all the feedback, I've fixed the lights and scaled up one or two small things
