Hopefully it'll be a learning experience not to place human-detonated traps in a high traffic area of your
own troops.
At the point where the enemies are close enough to the cache that they're falling over your booby traps, most likely all friendlies are dead in the area and the cache is assured to be going down soon... so essentially:
- High likelihood of teamkilling people who are actually trying to
actively defend the cache
- Low likelihood of stopping the enemy from destroying the cache... at best slowing them down by 1-3 troops.
I wish all servers would be so stringent with their TK rules

Thanks for trying to explain it all. Luckily I'm an inf player and don't have to worry about asset whores' arguments at the end of the day, I was just curious

Well it was planted behind container in the middle of nowhere... Anyway I won't use IED's on this server anymore... I am sick of trying to re-join.

I just came off a 3-round steamroll that included CIA members/admins on the steamrolling team, and after the first round I tried hinting at using the shuffle command. It was ignored the first round, the second round it gained traction with other players and only on the third did an admin agree to shuffle the next round... It's an awesome feature, but I realize it's tough to know the right time to use it...
But as far as I know, this one was not a gray area...

As far as I know, the shuffle command is a level 3 only command; of which none of the members on at the time have.
Joining our TS is the best way to let us know there may be a problem on the server.

The English spawned the ducking language, you'd think they'd know how to use it.

I see, that explains it
I don't use TS, and have no particular inclination to, so hopefully one of the other 99 people in the server will do it in future

This always has been a really good US server, the CIA guys are always solid teammates and the admin's do a good job without being too heavy handed.
Lately the crashes are just murdering this server though

The past few days almost every time I've been on there it's been stuck between Sbeneh skirm (map1) and Al-Basrah ins (map2)
Ashamed to ask but could you guys rotate the first map every couple of days till you get your server more stable? I noticed everyone sees Sbeneh-skirm loading and just groan then lot of people quit.
You guys have always done a great job, hope you are around for years to come.

Thanks for the feedback!
I'm planning on rotating out the first few maps as often as I can after the cycle we've been stuck in recently.

Tang! Thanks for the feedback, we have been crashing a LOT lately.... we are looking into it. Waffles will change the start-up maps no worries. Hopefully we will stop crashing soon.

Hellooo??? What about getting AT LEAST ONE admin online??? Currently ABOVE 50 players (increasing!!) and not A SINGLE ADMIN ONLINE!!!
My questions are:
- How many admins are there even at all in CIA?
- What does it need to get admin rights on CIA?

Update: just got kicked, and NONE of the reasons given in the std. kick-message applied. so why did auto-admin kick me? Pls, Server-owner, investigate. thx.
It seems to me there may have been an "invisible" admin connected to the server, but the "!admins" command said "none" online...

There was an admin online and watching the server. I had warned you more than once to stop spamming reports. I had also already ran a map vote prior to you spamming the reports. I gave you a final warning and you continued to spam reports. That resulted in you being removed from the server.

I don't believe this is the proper place.

I do not wish to register at CIA forums.

Ok, next time, PLEASE SIMPLY tell me there WAS already a mapvote where ***-mode "Insurgency" won ONCE AGAIN (instead of UBER-AAS-epic-gamemode), instead of KICKING me from the server ASAP, THANK YOU.
Over & out.

I had told you that we already ran a mapvote and you were even in the server while the mapvote was running. You received multiple warnings to stop abusing/spamming the report function. Its not my problem that you can't follow simple directions

I just had a very pleasant round on CIA. Shortl0rd was commander on Saaremaa leading the team very well. A solid flow of information gave us the opportunity to knock out the enemy CAS and hold the defence on one of the last Russian flags. When we were about to get shot down the APCs that I quickly contacted made sure that the cobra wouldn't get out alive.
Thank you for the great round!

First time for this, CIA will be having a community meeting Tomorrow (4/11) at 5 PM EST. After the CIA meeting we are opening the TS3 for anyone to join to voice an opinion on things about CIA etc. We want to hear your voice!

What happened to the Indigo server? I kinda liked it, had some pretty good serious rounds there.
