Amazing server one of the first i played on the T&T team helped me get to grips with the game and its a brilliant server to play on only server in my favourite list

we love you T&T

Bleh went on today...What happened?

This server used to be ace but today practically every squad I joined was split up on other ends of the map. People were crashing Helis more often than usual, mass deliberate Tking...TKing for kits...Soloing Tanks...People getting in a Land Rover and riving off solo with 3 people next to it spamming "Need pickup". I think maybe 2 out of 32 people had Mics...

What happened guys?

All servers have bad days mate, if something is annoying you in game then either shout at the nearest T&T member (each one is an admin) or get on the website and post something in the shoutbox and an admin will be with you asap.

admins decision: koobyak is banned for 20 minutes for driving a BIG RED into american mainbase

sry for that....i have not read ur server rules...if admin decides to kick me for baserape, the only thing i can do is to accept it :) ...and i do
one can think it was a heroic act of a desperate taliban trying to kill as much americans at once as possible... with that blast i took out 10 men at least plus equipment worth millions....BIG RED is designed to do such terrible things....u should consider that tactics as legal imo....suicide tactics / insurgency mode / asymmetrycal warfare - ever heard of? u should legalize all of that, for insurgents aswell as for taliban...just because it is the nature of a taliban to die in a big explosion inside a fortified compound full of american soldiers...i know the flag is uncappable, but it is all about caches not flags...i know that i demobilized the blue mob for ten minutes, but for ten more minutes the caches were safe...i know it is no fun to move out of the main base on foot, just to die from a SVD round somewhere in the canyons...i know that gameplay is not reality - but irl those taliban guys are some really mean ba*tards ...and the game is designed to play some mean tactics when playing insurgent, taliban or militia

summa summarum: pls !!! legalize baserape with BOMBCARS and BIG RED for taliban and insurgents

Apology accepted, with no hard feelings.

However, we are happy with our rules. We do not believe 'big red' would realistically get into a mainbase. It's just in game it's not practical to have permanent base defence, which in reality would prevent big red getting close.

Nothing to stop you planting IEDs and mines on the road out of bases etc. My favourite tactic as INS on Al Basrah is to IED the exit road from the airbase. Many a joyful moment.

Never expected that T&T admin can kick player just to grab his asset (Attack Heli) ...

As a witness to this,

The admin decared the assets to the squads in the order that the squads were formed, squad one named Huey CAS therefore recived priority regarding the CAS hueys.

he even warned you to jump out on your own free will, but you refused.

Anyone taking the time to read our rules would see that:
We reserve the right to impose control over use of assets (e.g. Air only squads etc). Anyone not obeying this rule will be kicked
We could have clarified that on our forums Jefe, since you're actually registered there, instead of coming here to draw attention to yourself.

You were only kicked, so you're more than welcome to rejoin. Please familiarise yourself with our rules to ensure a trouble free experience next time :)

The server rules are also shown on the first page of this thread, here.

Yes, he told me "jefe, out mate" and kicked me 3 sec later!, after I replied "why would I?" (would you left heli in split a second if some noob stay in front of it and ask you to get out of it?). I'm not sure about priorities, but my squad name was Attack Heli. And usually it is FIFO to assets.

Anyway, it's your server and your rules, act in such situations as you want.

I'll have a word with the admin concerned (all activity is logged) and get his side - since clearly only you've had your say. However, I would say that the admin who kicked you is one of the most laid back members of our community, and he very rarely uses in-game admin.

if you refering to what i told you after you complained why the sniper wasnt in your squad

i said it doesnt give you the right unless approved and personaly i dont support such a thing unless its a squad using a asset and even then using it well.

Hope that clears that up sorry if my explaination in game wasnt clear.

I was complaining about the sniper kit being taken by some person when there is a sniper squad already created with a main purpose of intel. (If you read a tip when you load in, there is a tip on it)
after you complained why the sniper wasnt in your squad
I guess a sniper kit would be more use at shooting 1 or 2 bad guys in a infantry squad while attacking flags than recon and taking out high priority targets. I mean. Who thought of that, some idiot. I guess all the armys in the world are miss using snipers. They should charge them right in to the action rather than sit back and give intel. Maybe you should write to them?

So what you are saying is there are no set rules? Just the decision of the admin that is on at that particular time. Well, thats a bit retarded.

And are you not considering a sniper kit as an asset? You only get 2 I believe and once lost an enemy can keep it or you can wait for long re spawn time. (basically the same as a chopper)

And how can you judge if a squad designated for an assets is good WHEN THEY DON'T HAVE THE ASSET because some idiot picked it up for running around with his squad in a CQB (Close quarter battle) area. i.e urban enviroment.

Would still have a problem if it wasn't an urban environment but at least he can do a little use with it, the only use he will have is a few kills maybe, and running out of ammo for the sidearm and dieing wasting tickets and sniper kit when squad leader could have used a rifleman or medic.

Tactics and Teamwork ey? Good luck with that.

P.S - I mean come on. You don't see people in real life just jumping into a chopper and flying off when there are already pilots assigned. (minus the intense training and flight hours required) This is project reality after all. Well done for ruining it.

You said to me that it lets everyone get a chance at being or using an asset. Well I respect that, so why can they not just join the squad OR make one if it hasn't been made already. If it's full, unlucky, join next round. If I was a leader of a sniper squad for instance and somebody didn't get in it the first round. I would gladly kick someone that has already been in it and switch them.


By the way this would also apply to other servers that implement this rule, or implement it sometimes depending on what admin is on and whether he has had a wank yet. Not just T&T.

At the end of the day, my members pay £300 per month for this server.

THEY make the rules. YOU follow them.

The rules are designed to be as fair and reasonable as possible, and the vast majority of our visitors - which includes a very strong core of regulars - have no issues and enjoy endless nights of great gaming.

You will find that we deal swiftly with anyone deemed to be wasting an asset - vehicle or otherwise - and it has a negative impact on the entire team. You may even see people being warned/kicked for picking up a pickup kit only to drop it again (and have it disappear momentarily).

If you don't like that there are plenty of servers which may accomodate you. Enjoy!
