End of the first post contains all of it.

Also, my main argument bout' the M-9, is not really that it's phased out, it's the fact that they're not issued to regular grunts. If regular infantry doesn't have M-9s IRL, then I don't see how realistic it is to give them one here.
But i'll quit it, it's just a PDW afterall, your call. ;)

Congratulations to all who are working on this faction, you are doing a very good job. If I were less busy, I would have work on this subject too.
Noobage : what else...
@162eRI : Ça va t'arrives à jongler entre French Forces, JGSDF Forces et Stargate la Relève ? :-) Chapeau en tout cas pour tous tes efforts !

Well, I don't know if in your country you have seen this advert, but in France, there is one with George Clooney starring...
You can see it here : YouTube - Nespresso Commercial - George Clooney - What Else
And now in France we have this expression "Mr So and So, what else..."

Well gentleman

I've heard that you need voice acters. So I asked a friend and he recorded some stuff. Ok quality is'nt best (only recordet during MSN chat) but it sounds good imo. If you like them, give me a list of all needed sounds and we will continue recording.

Maybe you can tell me a better recording software?

Wow, they sound great ;) The recording quality isn't bad at all, don't worry

Finished the Type 87, and my personal AT varient :) The Type 87 is around 8,400 poly's, so it's very detailed. Is it ok?

I've got a .zip file with some sounds recorded from the annual Fuji Firepower review. It's got the Type 89 IFV cannon, and the Type 89 rifle in auto, burst, and semi, but the audio quality might not be good. There's a bit of ambient noise.

Hey 162. I was actually thinking about re-skinning either the UH-1J or the F-2A considering I didnt see anyone have those positions taken. I've already got some pretty decent refs for the UH-1J. Here is one:

Also, am I just going to re-skin the current UH-1 in Project Reality if I do the re-skin?

Thanks,
MadSquirts

Sorry man but that model of the Huey happens to be a UH-1N "Twin Huey". The JGSDF uses the UH-1Hs and UH-1J which are variants of the UH-1 "Iroquois".
Both helicopter have a significant difference in the engines and rotor areas:

The model needed for JGSDF faction: UH-1 Iroquois - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

May be. It's not really up to me

My personal choice would be to go with the UH-60J (Although it would need a light model addition to the vanilla BF2 one) but the Huey does sound cool.

Hmmm... I'm aware that the German faction is still negotiating with the OPK staff about using OPKs Huey in PR's german faction. If OPK eventually agreed... would it be possible to reskin that model for the JSDF faction?

You will have to talk to them about that, but i guess it just depends on things :-P

personally to me, its gonna be in PR in the end, so does it matter? but i guess it does

Well this is EA/Dice's model of the Black Hawk used in PR:
Image

The JGSDF Black Hawk looks like this:

The model would need those extra fuel tanks and some other small details on the nose.

I'm really not sure if this faction should use the Huey or the Blackhawk. There are currently no precise models (As used in the JGSDF) of neither within PR or BF2. So I guess we'll have to resign ourselves to use either the UH-1N available in PR's USMC faction or with vanilla BF2 BlackHawk model until we get confirmation on whetter OPKs Huey model can be used or an accurate new model of the Blackhawk is available for PR.

The question is which helicopter we'll go after... Huey or Blackhawk?
How about voting for it?

That fuel tanks and that ball on the front can be added as a child, thats the same thing they did with those air filters.

LOL! Did someone realized that the blackhawk on the pic don't have a main rotor?
