I like insurgents A LOT, there's nothing like the feeling you get after a successful ambush.

Insurgents will dominate 0.95. Using mortars and recoilless' creatively will leave the forum full of pissed off blufor boys who're upset their precious precious armour isn't offering them a safe refuge.

Also, mortars mean it's time for baserape again (on servers that allow it, dont worry). Your petty blufor protecting dome of death plan has failed! Insurgency shall be like insurgency was meant to be! Allah this and that!

Karbala, Basra, Fallujah - Either, killing the Tank feels very rewarding while also heart pounding to think if you would make it or not. While driving the tanks and leading inf squads on BluFor is also quite fun on these maps.

Korengal - Tali

Gaza - Hamas, It's the best insurgent team for me atm and with a decent defense the israelis wont get into the city

Iron Ridge - Either, the buildings provide epic cache searches and gunfights with both teams.

Ramiel, Archer - Either, I feel sometimes it gets pretty boring if the teams suck and kills with CE kit on Archer are rare as they know the common spots for IEDs, but its quite funny tho to have an LAV chase you and see him roll over on the hills. On Ramiel its just quite fun to use the LB there sometimes and killing the BH with an RPG feels like ur in the movie

Mortaring of bases was a daily routine in both Iraq and Afghanistan, its gonna be fun to see them come here and try to say its unreal.

From now on youre always gonna have a mortar squad and its always gonna be aimed at firebases or main bases. Perhaps sometimes at the tank when its camping far away.

You will probably also see counter mortar teams in bluefor, and they are gonna have a big advantage: The Kiowa recon helo. That means insurgents are gonna need competent AA teams as well.

i say insurgents, because its a good break from organized and graceful squadwork

I'll go cache hunting at any opportunity. Tho I don't mind donning the red check scarf for some bomb truck action

Insurgents represent everything that I left vanilla/desert conflict for.

In Taliban and Afghanistan they had only the ammo they could carry. Also they were not trained to hit within a 2m radius.

Really hate the playstyle of insurgents/taliban; seeing a squad sticking together (let alone working together) is a very rare thing indeed.

People just squad up and run-a-mok. 2-3 hours of boredom.

I prefer insurgency over AAS. Playing as an insurgent is really rewarding. Roadside bombs, RPG ambushes and bombcars... hell that's just so awesome. City maps are the best, Fallujah is my overall favorite ever. Then there is Ramiel, Karbala. Insurgency gameplay is pure win!

I do prefer insurgency over AAS... But I hate being insurgents; but so does everyone else so I can't teamswitch due to stacked teams! =[

I dont care wich team im on... It war, you fight whoever and wherever they send you!

Both sides make fun.

i prefer the insurgents as that is the only team i feel i can SL properly without making a fool of myself, usually because i'm defending/ spotting as a civi (on iraqi ins.)

The problem is that guys want to play as an BluFor squad as Insurgent, THAT WON'T WORK! Being an Insurgent you need to follow this rules;

#1: You are not a 1337 l4z0r m40a3 pr3d4t0r guy with an M4 with ACOG sight.
#2: Act like real insurgents and how they work, hit and run use civilians for cover and make huge ambushes.
#3: When playing Ins PR is turned in Project Epicness instead of Project Reality.
#4: Never, never fight over distance with the BluFor troops, you can't win that with your Iron Sights, let them come closer.
#5: If you are losing the cache soon, IED it like hell with your squad, flee the building and when the cache went down blow them up!

Meh, wish there was a both option.
Depends on players in the server, what map it is and if theres teamwork

BLUFOR or nothing. Something about getting raped beyond belief and yet still (somehow?) winning the round doesnt seem fun to me. Or putting an IED on the road and sitting there for an hour waiting for someone to go by. Kinda boring. Fun for about 5 seconds but thats about it. I would rather be the raper and lose the round, or win, doesnt matter really. If it were up to me there would be no insurgent mode at all, but gotta live with what you got I guess...

I prefer my own self. But insurgents are the shizow.
