However, in real life when shot in a lung, it can collaps it, making it harder to breeth, which can be fixed by stabbibg a device in your chest and punping up your lung, which has to be done repeatedly every once in a while, until you get real medical attention.

If you get shot in an artery, its still possible for a medic to save you, but you lose blood fast if they don't pinch it and sew it together soon.

Hopefully you know the rest.

And btw, OF COURSE, you get hit anywhere it will kill you, if you don't get medical attention because you will obviously bleed to death. However, if you are all secured by a medic, (pressure, turnet, then powder stuff to stop bleeding etc.), you should be weak, but it should stop the bleeding if it didn't hit a major artery or w/e.

How the hell do you think there are so many wounded in Iraq? Not all of them were from grenades, or mortars. Most are from being shot. And what do you know, their not all dead. Go argue with them, and tell them they should be dead.
Most of the dead/wounded has been caused by road side bombs and rocket attacks. Most has been caused by AK47 which doesn't use a malicious bullet like the AK74 does.

To a dev: Are the yanks going to be harder to kill? They have all the good armor.

With proper medevac isn't it around 85% if not more of those wounded survive.

so, is it possible to implement a bleeding system in bf2 (of 42 for that matter)? I like the idea a lot though. Perhaps since the medics can only stop bleeding, there could be a feild hospital at each teams main that actually heals the player(really slowly)

Yep, thats basiclly exactly what I'd like to see in this mod. No more 'medics' running around ignoring their injured team mates, instead running headlong through enemy fire while healing themselves, dam noobs... although healing team mates will get u points in vanilla BF2, so I think we'll probably start seeing a lot less of that anyway.

Exactly. The term refers to the original, unmodified version of a game.

i'd also like good voice acting/sounds
btw. how is the "ammo system" going to work? like in cs or you just bring some magazines and if you reload you just lose a mag?

but that would take a lot of time and i dont think that ppl would do that in the middle of a battle

I don't think that you should have the ability to reload/take rounds out of an old mag mags in the middle of a battle because I don't think many of you have had the experience or trying to unload a m-16 mag without any assistance like a LULA tool. Unloading rounds would almost never be helpful in real life as it takes about 3 minutes to unload a full mag without a tool.

yeah save the magazines, and then put in the option to makefull magazines out of that (so that takes 30 seconds or so)

LIke I said before making full ones would take forever. Maybe 2-3 minutes total. So unless you want to spend that much time or model a LULA then my opinion is just to leave it out of the game
