I know some admins outside HOG who employ hours daily to sort out issues registered in game and forums.

Luckily, PR population doesn't fit entirely on one server yet, at least in the timeframe I play, so other servers like SSG and PRTA see traffic. And traffic means issues. I really don't understand the dismissive attitude.

Agus' point is perhaps more that most server admins don't want to be part of two admin teams because of the potential for conflict of interest. Usually being an admin requires you to seed the community's server - naturally they would have a preference as to which server they would want to seed. Would the other community punish this? There's a lot of potential for tension.

He's also right that being an admin for one server is already a fairly big workload. To administrate two communities would require you to:

(1) Be fully comprehensive in both community's rulesets
(2) Be active in both community's 'internal' administration - player reports, ban appeals, rule changes etc.
(3) Seed both servers (?)

There's quite a lot to do. I for one have my hands full being a senior administrator in one community. Being an admin for another community would add to my workload greatly, and isn't something I want to do.

It's also something I shouldn't have to do, because =HOG= seems to be the only community unwilling to intentionally deseed their server when they no longer have admins online. The rest of us do it and it works fine. Again, the last admins 'turns out the lights' and those players join a server in a different timezone. That's how it should work, and it's conducive to friendly and reciprocal relations between communities.

We all want the same thing, after all: an active PR playerbase and good gameplay.

If that means purposefully shaking players off your server at a certain time, then that's what you need to do. The rest of us do it.

guess they dont have the right admins, we have MANY that are admins on other servers. I think what they really mean is, they dont want to be apart of it because they would rather bash it, but thats ok, we dont want those kinds of people on our team anyway. We have the best admin team ever in pr, our server continuing to be the most popular in pr is proof of that.

Not sure if making a joke about Trump or if you serious think this is true.

I do believe HOG as a small faithful player base. This allied with it being the only of two servers that attempts to seed on weekdays and does't care if there's online admins or not, makes that the server has enough players to attract the grand majority of players that simply does not care about admins or rules, they just want to join the server with most players (in their region preferable).

In Europe you can clearly observe several servers attempting to compete against each other, eventually one will crash and the players will join the remaining one.

edit: this is why PRTA can't compete against HOG unless they create an NA server.

Dont question the wikipedia! Just because it reports different things on different languages does not make it unreliable source!

The perspective of someone who isn't affiliated with any clans: it's simple: a server is full, it's appealing. Two servers are full, the one that cleans their own house the best the better. The one that appears full the most wins. Doesn't mean it's the best server, but, unlike someone else said earlier, it's not the "same old 'if it's full all the time, doesn't mean it's good'", but, if a server's full all of the time, it's certainly because its player base liked something about the server.

Also, it certainly brings life to the game seeing servers compete to have more players, and I support that completely, but perhaps it'd be better for everyone to not label those who prefer other servers than yours, because how do you expect support by antagonizing who you want to play on your servers.

Just saying.

Re: =HOG= (North American) - Feedback Thread.
The only good admins on HOG are Jevski and Haley. The rest are power-hungry little shits that get no attention anywhere else in their miserable lives so they power-trip as an admin. I have been playing on HOG since its inception. Normally, its a decent server. But recently the grumpy old men and new little shits admins have been slipping. But if you like playing Saaremaa over and over, its a great server.

Hey , just played Fallujah INS on HOG server , some admin named rageblade something was with me on mosque roof and started throwing rocks at me and injuring me , so I shot near him for like 2 different times so he would stop , at the third time I shot him and he died, he started talking shit and said it's the last warning , I asked him few times to stop and he didn't so that's why i shot him.
We moved on and few mins later I was inside ins main and he teamkilled me for no reason out of nowhere.
Next thing was I shot 1 rpg on mosque roof ( which I know is wrong and it was a moment I didn't think about it and im sorry for ) and he banned me.
I just want to say that it's sad that an idiot like him have the power to kick and ban poeple , he's just a childish guy that teamkilling for no reason and uses he's power for bad things instead of just fucking keep the server normal like an admin should do.
Poeple who played with me before knows I really like the game and always following the rules and never teamkilling, always playing objective and not one of those lonewolves who play this game for frag and doing stupid things.
HOG owners : If poeple like him are the poeple you choose to admin your server , I suggest you to stop playing PR , you probably didn't understand it's purpose...
