Question: I use the tutorial you made for Modifying Weapons and when i go into a local co-op game, the weapon changes i made are not taking effect. I changed the usrif_m4eotech to fire full-auto and when i load in, it does not change. Any fixes or am I just missing something?

Found out how to make it happen for pr v0.973.

The changes you make to weapons_server you must also make the same changes for the other weapons_server.zips. I.E. weapons_server_patch1-2. Once you have made these changes to the above .zips, your changes will take effect.

New Question: I try to edit the usa_officer kit to have the P226 in the 2nd kit weapon slot (where the uspis_m92fs is) and it will show up on the hud but will not show up in the soldiers hands. It will fire and everything but looks like I am shooting a ghost gun. Any fixes?

No i checked in the kits_client.zip and the only things there are the textures and meshes for the kits, not the actual kit loadouts.

So question still stands: the P226 (which is item index 2) does not work for usa_officer.con file.

New Question: My custom m4eotech (item index 2) does not have any sound. I fire the weapon and it sounds very distant instead of the 1p weapon sounds. Any ideas?

invisible weapons sounds like the .mesh doesnt get loaded at all,

check your files and make sure the .mesh gets loaded

Copying the file in the patch file with the highest number is enough. No need to apply it to all zips.

I had to apply it to all weapons_server.zips because when I did the changes only on weapons_server.zip, the changes would not work. Since your serverarchives.con file loads the weapons_server_patch1/2.zip files, any .con file not corresponding with the other .zips would make the changes not show up.

you just need to change the most recent files like _patch2.zip
it will override the .zip and the _patch1.zip

What about indexed weapons? because the m4eotech I have put into a kit uses slot 2 so I have followed this tutorial on "Changing Weapon Index Numbers" and have the .con / .tweak in weapons_server.zip and only the tweak file in patch1 & 2. Is this where I messed up?

I just merged them into one folder (weapons_server) and I only have to edit them once.

I re-coded and it well worked, thanks, now I will put Iron Sight weapons on the pilot kits

i think it has to do with the weapon's .tweak file. make sure you edit each ussni_m24.tweak file in your weapons_server_patch1 / weapons_server_patch2 zip files. Not sure other than that. Still no word on my P226 problem......

Hey guys, I changed the tweak files of the US Heavy AT to be Laser Guided, but now I want to turn it able to see the Laser Markers but I don't know how.

you need to change the GUI Index of the AT
