I camp at usual sniper spot in Muttrah and think I haven't been spotted yet, then a cobra comes and hovers just infront of me while I'm scoping.

And try not to use "holy fuck" as he's using hydras for you

Once, threw a grenade at myself on the roof of a building trying to lob it down to a bunch of hostiles below. I jumped on the roof only to find a hook where I was jumping so halfway to the ground I grabbed it, slid down a bit and jumped off and because of the nade going off just above our heads, the shell shock distorted everybody, they start spraying. I fled to the ally as one of them hit the other. I later came back and took out the last guy. XD

I was in this same situation on Muttrah, except I didn't know I had zero bullets in the mag. So when I felt I could take them out I stood up, walked down the stairs and some marine was at the window, click,click,click. Needless to say he turned around and completely annihilated me. :/

Laying down in the tall grass, in Kokan while seeing a whole U.S. INF squad walking past me. I was like "oh ****" but when they all walked past me, I stood up, threw a grenade and shot a whole clip on them. Resulting getting a 1337 mood.

I've got three here, and all from the first session of playing PR last night.

My first "Oh, dear," moment, I had unfortunately been separated from my squad and killed on Fool's Road, so I respawned at our main. I picked up a logi, and thinking "How hard could it be?", drove it onto the road, where I accidentally drove it OFF of the road and rolled it upside down. Then I ran away before anyone could figure out that it was me.

Second time, I'd regrouped with my squad and we were holding position on a hill, also on Fool's Road. All around the hill, I could hear an engine droning. It was an APC, just prowling around there. I kept thinking that it was going to sneak up on us.

The third one was on Operation Barracuda, on the US side. My SL was calling for someone to grab a medic kit, as there wasn't one medic in the entire squad yet, and we were loading up the transport Hueys to move to the first objective. I was the last one to get to the helo, so I was told to get the medic kit. Did I mention that this was still my first time playing the game? *gulp*
So I grabbed the kit and hopped into the chopper. Our pilot, I think his name was RedCobra or something similar, dropped us off expertly on a roof at the airfield. By the way, props to you, Huey pilot, whoever you are. That was a gorgeous landing. Anywhazzles, upon landing, most of the squad was cut down by friendly fire somehow. The only ones left were myself and one other guy. So my squad leader speaks up and says "Well, it's your time to shine, Waveord."
*gulp*
I did end up reviving a few guys, but they were shot again.

Seeing a black dot in the sky getting bigger, bigger , bigger and Boom! That was definatly a Kiowa doing a strike.

So I was playing Iron Ridge as an insurgent, and I had just made my way to the sewage/water plant after a bit of a hike. I was still rather far away from my squad though. So, seeing an APC, I walked up to it to see if I could hitch a ride.
Yeah, it was a Russian APC. Manned and all. That was my first time thinking "Oh, ****."
Needless to say, I shit a few bricks on the spot, then turned and ran back around a corner before the APC could see me. Then someone smacked down the APC with a HAT kit, I believe, and the APC decided to RTB.
Quite unfortunately for me, it turned around the corner that I had run around. Here was my second moment of "Oh, ****."
The beast saw me, and opened fire. But somehow, I survived being shot a few times and was able to run to the ladder leading down to the sewage plant, where I patched myself back together.

I get quite a bit of Oh **** moments.

The one I usually get is when I'm on a techy on Operation Archer and I'm looking at the castle with my binoculars, see the Canadian TOW up there. Then I hear the missile launch, see the missile in my binoculars try to run away and well I guess I blew up Haha.

For some reason I love being shot by the TOW. Gives me a rush.

I, like everybody else have had many "oh ****" moments. My most memorable one was from back when I was the leader of the SWAT clan. The reason why I remember this so well is because it was so similar to the story of Marcus Luttrell, Axe, Murph, and Dietz.

The map was Korengal Valley. We had been being bombarded by group of Insurgents, and managed to track the waves coming from a village down just a ways from our location. So I ordered part of my squad to work their way into an assault position while my 2IC and I went to the top of the hill overlooking the village. My plan was that my 2IC, Lt. Redfox and I could set up a sniper position to guide the assault element into the village (My 2IC and I were the sniper element since we were the only ones who had used sniper kits before).

So Redfox and I set up on this ridgeline overlooking the village. The assault element was looping around to the opposite side of the village. Everything was going good, and Redfox was spotting for me. I took a bead on my first target...and just before firing, Redfox told me to hold fire, danger close. (He was about 20 m above me on the hill) I turned around to see what he was talking about. Right then, over voip, he said "Oh shit...I think they saw you..." The last thing i saw was an RPG, and then "Respawning in..."

when a littlebird popped up over the rooftop and opend fire on me.

I was playing in a 12-man squad last week on the 256 player event. Our squad had just jumped out of 3 LAVs that were transporting us when we heard a TOW rocket coming our way. One LAV blew up killing two f our squad from the blast radius, and the other 2 LAVs died in the next 30 seconds. x(

I was playing on Iron Eagle as MEC on the Tactical Gamer Server as a Tank Squad.

Most of the round was spent on over watch over Alkomin. However after our team took over Cave Bunkers we decided that we would move up to IDF Artillery Outpost. After getting there we of course lost Cave Bunkers again and decided we would go help out. We decided instead of going back North all the way around Alkomin we would take the main road back to Cave Bunkers. We were riding along and we turned a corner/small hill in the road and we found this:



CQB TANKS!

We smacked right into each other and needless to say we blew each other up! The driver started spazzing out and going from the driver seat to the machine gun quite fast as well. I might not have if I hadn't took time to take a screenshot but I felt like it was worth it.

Well this qualifies as one of those moments.

best one I had was a while back on Muttrah.

Im with an infantry squad and we're heading towards the mosque, when out of nowhere an APC and a squad pull up and get us pinned down pretty bad. We lost a guy, and we figured we were all gonna die right then and there, and suddenly we just heard an explosion and the firing stopped. We look at where our attackers were, and it's just dead bodies and the ruins of an APC. Upon seeing that, we were like "wtf?" and looked up to see the small figure of a cobra hovering pretty high up. Pretty amazing to see from a video game.
