  • Red Diamond= Cache
  • Red Triangle = Hideout
  • Red Filled Circle = BluFor Cache Marker search area
  • Red Outlined Circle = 200 Meter Diameter Around Cache
  • Yellow Circles = 0.95 Full Sprint (I need to update this, haven't figured out the distance of a full sprint in new system)
  • Grey Circle = 200 Meter Diameter Circle between Hideouts
It really is that simple. The darker the yellow the more concentrated the ease of defense due to multiple spawn points within sprint distance.

NYPD Police Chief Ray Kelly implemented a system like this for NYPD Central Command to track crimes along with Houston Texas... Many governments use the system now. Real Time Crime Center - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

More work needs to be put on the players rather than the gamemode.

1. Iw yet to see good teamplay on INS side. Imho this happens because current conflicts are still in good memory and Insurgents are seen as the enemy. This is even more evident on US/Brit servers. Just my opinion.

2. Not enough hideouts. 3 Per cache is IMHO optimal.
3. Not enough commanders to spot the moving troops with waypoints.
4. Spawning on unknowns.
5. Getting killed and insta giving up meaning easy intel.
6. Not enough collaborators.
7. No tactical understanding of the vehicles and how to use them in full force.
Technical's are the backbone, and can turn any battle. Still I have never seen server to enforce assetrule on technical's.
8. Not enough mortar teams.

Insurgency just got easier because of the new cache spawn rule. Finally allmost all the caches were inside the city in Karbala for example.

Players have at last learned all the places of all the cache. And no matter what the Op4 team do, They can not hold back an haft average team of Blue4 due to the inherent advantage of the kits and assets.
They can. I saw several times an insurgent team win against a somewhat organized team. Ambush, ambush and more ambush. Sadly oftentimes the insurgents do not even use the Artillery IED and all the other IEDs they get. Just like it was hard as nails for the blueforce to win when no rally was tested, people upped their game and eventually won hard maps.

It was on an American server where I oftentimes saw the insurgent team giving the blueforce a good whooping. Maybe the FBI needs to do a good search for terrorist cells?

That, and spreading out people to defend those FOB would mean less people actively searching for the cache. Otherwise the FOB are not so well-defended and...
Two days ago on =SAGA= public server(not #2), on Al basrah I stabbed a FOB, killed two machinegunners who were too busy slinging 50cal bullets into the city, and got a few british kit's worth of incendiary grenades and wasted all of those structures.
I was using a cell leader's kit to help a sniper, but he was killed by APC near the FOB and I was not spotted, so I got to the FOB and killed it.

Basically BluFor on the server are also bad...depending on which side has more =SAGA= members, it may change.

Oh, and our server has a distinct lack of mumble. =SAGA= needs to see its effectiveness and set up a server for it.

My IGN is Hakuei Reimu(it is missing an r in "Hakurei" because the real name was registered by someone else...same with Reisen Inaba, Izayoi Sakuya, and Remilia Scarlet...).
Remiu, My sister had it,Remilia, I cant tell you who he is.Izayoi Sakuya, me!
You are a memble of SAGA??????

I remember 1 time and this has happened to us before, place a techie at a defending position near a known cache, I get on the big gun and one of my mates gets on the mounted front seat gun. We hold back any attempt for blu to take out the cache or even enter the building its in, rest of squad takes up tactical positions to protect cache and also protect techie as enemy now know our intentions and position.

So what happens? Idiot from other squad jumps in OUR techie and drives off nothing we say makes him stop or return the techie, he drives to a way to hot spot in the line of enemy apc and we are all dead, techie is blown up and cache is very soon after destroyed.

Ino this is a random post however this wouldn't generally happen on blu.

There must be a server rule "Do not attack unknown cashes".

It's all about the hideouts and where they are placed, 1 near the cache is a set up for failure. You need at least 2 but preferably 3 and they need to be a good distance from the cache so they will not fall when if the cache becomes unspawnable. Having them placed on different sides of the cache is a must as well. Allows you to see what direction the enemy is coming from when a hideout falls and confuses the enemy on what direction everybody is coming from. No hideouts = no win

Have teamswitching turned off, and keeping people in the same clan on 1 team.

Otherwise, it's not hard to run around with a humvee and wait for an RPG to fire at you.. ;)

The problem with only one cache spawnable, is that some caches are really really hard to get. The caves in Lashkar Valley for example or other maps are tiny spaces which can be held by one machinegun. But the caves in Afghanistan look more like this.

V?deo - Bin Ladens Cave according to Rumsfeld

"Entrances large enough for tanks"
That has nothing in common with the small deathtraps ingame. How about making the caves more like that?

Does Rumsfeld sound like a solid source to you?

Besides, that would be even harder to capture.

Recent? People have been doing that since the insurgents have had caches. I can vividly remember some of the more daring .8 era runs in littlebirds in Korengal Valley doing nap of the earth runs down the river, dropping off presents to all the good little insurgents.

Through up to four walls.
