They are probaly not becuase that was really only done in WW2 and then they invented the APC/ IFV - much safer way of traveling.
None one in modern wars (infantry) ride on MTBs and such. With RPGs and smalls arms fire every where it is plain sucide.
AND the BF2 engine is terrible, making such a thing very complex and possibly impossible to do.
