MAAASSSIIIIVVEE DEERRPPPP. Not really, no. I for my part when admining don't trust the score board at all as its not really a clear source of facts. I rather check it for my self or ask some other players that can confirm the accident.

And in case you didn't know TK get shown on top of the screen anyway, so you can simply recheck every log by using the console.
Tarranauha200 wrote:Just give dead people hitpoints so they can be shot dead dead.
This would partially solve the greatest problem in PR, lack of fear of death.

But just give hitpoints to the chest and head, not legs and arms becoase often they are sticking out of a wall when someones body is colliding with it.

This would also make people use cover more. When you get wounded, you fall behind cover and cant get shot dead dead.

"But, but international treaties!?!"
Nah, I seen videos of ISAF guys executing insurgents. And in case of major war(WW3) like MEC vs US, no one would care about any treaties. Atomic, chemical and biological ftw!
Reread my post why some of these sentences in PR are full of fail. If I did know you can kill wounded soldiers, I for my part wouldn't hesitate half a second to get 2 other bursts in his face, or just keep on spraying with the AR.

An already existent and really proficient tactic (which I always use) is to let the grenadier engage the bodies, so you assure they won't come back to life as zombies and eat your brain. Just think about in how many situations this can be very, very counterproductive.

There should be a possibility to combine Bringerof Ds post (only able to eliminate wounded soldiers with a knife, which actually simulates the corps-checking IRL and which could also prevent exploits such as I have already mentioned. Thumbs up for this one). and some changed form of Jonnys one.

The ability to kill enemies fully by having to approach them and stab their body, exposes you and there is a big chance to get killed by a guy hiding in a bush close to his downed teammates. I kinda like it. Same goes for Jonnys idea of having limited numbers of "revives" (resuggestion AFAIK) before entering the paradise sounds more interesting than the current system.

But I am pretty both of these are resuggestion and have been rejected quite some time ago. Sadface but true, just remove that scoreboard for once xD.

Edit: Checked the forums and didn't find this one, to bring out Jonnys idea but changing it so you don't have a limited amount of deaths but every time you get shot (when you get wounded) the timer between the "wounded" and "dead" state gets increased by a specific factor. This way you are not limiting deaths itself but only those who keep dying too often in a row.

Example you get shot the first time: 1min till you can get revived when you go down.
2nd time: 2min
3rd time: 4min
4th time: 6min
5th time: 10min
6th time: 15min
...and so on, suggestions, dislikes?

So you want the current system completely turned around or do you still want to keep the timer that makes you deaddead after 5 min?
Does the time extend for every death or only when you die 2 times without doing anything significant inbetween?

I dont realy like it, im more for the idea of knifing them or an aditional headshot to make them dead dead. It keeps things simple without any need for stopwatches on your desk :D If you manage to clear the area you move up, finish the remaining wounded and keep doing what you were doing before.

P.S. Is there a way to revive enemy soldiers and keep them as prisoners? If you have lets say 3 enemies and you make them your hostages it could cause a very minor ticket bleed (5 per minute or so) so that the enemy is forced to attempt a rescue. If the hostages kill themselves or get Tk'ed they cause their team to lose 10-15 tickets? If they get killed by their captors it costs 2 or 3 tickets for the captors themselves.

I meant everytime you get shot and then revived you have to wait 1 minute in order to be revivable again. I want to change THAT timer, so everytime you get wounded you have to be more careful as death is coming closer and closer :D

Now I get it, yeah, thats a good idea. But the 5 min till dead dead still remains?

My money is on hardcoded.

The current system has changed nothing but the increase the revive time from 15 seconds to 300 seconds.

You can't kick/ban a person because someone else is whining about it. You need to have some general idea of the situation and the score tab gives just that. Battle recorder can't be used until after the round is over (and probably some time after that).[/offtopic]

It's not afaik. I believe you can also set it so you can only be revived a certain number of times - although all of this has been brought up many times before.

I thought you had to wait two minutes 'til you would be able to get revived again? Can anyone confirm?

You can't kick a person over the scoreboard only either, as how often it comes down to mistakes, your arguement is invalid.

Saxoni yeh its 2 mintues I was just referring to an old discussion we had about that, when someone brought up a similar idea, can't remember what was against it tho. It wasn't hardcoded, I remember that.

I think several people said that it was possible to kill kill a wounded enemy with a grenade, well I think I'm getting my kills cause of that, so I guess this is confirmed

don't fight them alone then

this is a team game, no matter how awesome you are, you need friends to complete the objective :P
Some of the times I'm "lone-wolfing" but there are those times the we engage while going from base/FarWayFOB to our SQ
Use HE shells (APC/TANK)
What if I'm playing as an insurgent
WE should have the possibility to Kill Wounded Bodies with Knife
It was that I was expecting. Like some one said it would be unbalanced if we could kill just with the gun, that would destroy the medic's function, so if we could get close enough to knife the bodies it would be legit

The dev's have stated that it is not desireable to have players knifing enemy wounded, so you'll have to work around that/find an alternative (that's why I mentioned medic having some similar function).

In soviet far cry 2, they shoot YOU with pistol.

We really need some system to kill wounded people other than heavy weapons.

Three incendiary grenades will make a person 'Dead Dead'. However, this is time consuming and should only be done to mock the guy you just shot down, unless it's the squad leader. You need to be sure they're dead.
It is better to watch the bodies and wait for a possible medic, however there are those times when the man that's down will not give up until his medic that's 200+ meters away will get him

AFAIK they have removed the feature to kill wounded enemies with phosphor-grenades.

We have to ask ourselves in what situation dead-deading is actually important. In long range firefights, you don't get to drop anything on the corpse anyway - this issue is hard to notice in that case. This is mainly a close quarter combat issue. You clear a building, move on to the next, and suddenly the building behind you is full of walking dead.

Perhaps simply reintroducing lethal shots, but making it depend on range rather than hit zone, might be an idea. Medics will still be useful, but if you got ambushed at very close range, it can be assumed that the medic didn't have a chance to really help these people in time.
