Awesome stuff, will it drop a crate too/is this the heavy or medium transport chopper for the FF?

It will only drop one crate. We don't have an equivalent for the Chinook.

Alright I see what you mean..is the Panther in use with the army as well or will it only be on sea-borne maps like Marlin?

The French Panther is only used by the French Navy/Marines, so mainly for sea-borne maps but it doesn't rule out the possibility of navy helicopter support for an assault, in the same way Royal Navy / Royal Marine Sea Kings are widely used in Afghanistan as part of the Joint Helicopter Force

While we have the choice to export them open or closed, 99% chance they will be exported in the open position both sides like most other choppers. The door can't simply slide open when going to the ground as landing gear animations only work though rotation points, not sliding motions + no real point (Chinook has a slight point to it).
