Have not tried 0.4 yet, but the last version made fighting sound better and the "thrill" of it enhanced as a result. GJ and keep it up!

there is no way a m4/m16 sounds like that. shot m4 rifle few months ago. i believe original sound is better. plus you use the same sound for most of the small arms so i cant believe it being the best quality. if u keep small arms and sound mod for everything else it would be better.

Oh geez no. But some rifles with same caliber should sound abit similar I think. And design of weapon and barrels and bullets. But nothing that should make a big difference for the player even if I have very unsimilar sounds. So yeah play the
Mod and then check your hearing if you think the same as before.

when i'm being shot at and the lead bullet is smacking the wall near me

these hollywood counterstrike sounds in games piss me off *tink, tink*

anyway a cool thing to do in future games is create a sound suppression control bar for the sound settings in game that can suppress the way your ears naturally suppress loud sounds with ear plugs(combat earplugs), it would be a scroll bar 0% to 100%

good idea right?

I think I can answer that one for you. I think the answer is yes, anders has created AWSOME new bullet flyby's and whistle's and bullet hits. Believe me I've been playing with the new version for a while, and those new sound make it really a more realistic and immersive experience compared to the old soundmod or regular PR. You will be scared once those first few bullets fly by your head ;)

Nice! Been waiting for this, I wish this mod will be supported by the dev's and included as a patch to the game. So It can be on all servers :)
