One of the best PR server for sure, pretty sad that it has to be shut down. But thanks to those years of good PR games with good teamplay!

I should probably explain that my objective is to make sure that there is a place for "serious-pants" players to play and enjoy a solid round or two of teamwork.

My server in its current form, although it has improved in terms of gameplay, still does not fulfill the hole left by the TG server. A hole that needs to be filled in so that PR can be played the way it was meant to be. Though I would change the rules about swearing and road killing, it is otherwise an amazing place for serious, fun and amazing action.

I as a server administrator and the many donators to my clan's server have a vested interest in the survival of what is essentially the flagship server of PR; the server that can be counted on to show how the game should be played. If this server goes, I fear that the mod itself will go with it as players will not fall into the line of teamwork that can be achieved by this mod.

I know that I said I had an extra server core and that I want to see such a server in the mix, my personal issue is in that I do not have the admins to make sure that the game runs "TG" smoothly. And so, I am asking the community for volunteers and for donations, to make sure that such a server can exist, can function, and can set the example for all the servers (hopefully without language and road killing restrictions, but technically speaking it would not be my server).

I and my clan are for the survival of the mod. We like to beat competition and see competition fade away, but I feel that this type of competition is very, very necessary for the mod itself to compete with all the other games in the world.

And so, until TG becomes viable again, my offer stands open and ready.

Ace i also don't see what gap your trying to fill, doesn't CIA already run a good PR server? I've played there, the teamwork was great and i really liked the scoring system you guys were testing out with the leaderboards.

Hands down the best server PR will ever have. When I started playing PR I frequented most servers and none of them had the teamwork that the TG server has. TG played the game right and with maturity not seen on any other servers.

Farewell TG... many years of fun were had.

I will never forget the experience, and especially the friends I found on that battlefield.

my own clan wasn't even mine they always play games together before me and bad games i would never play, those kids who aren't it the clan were bad at PR anyway, NO is a pr clan only good PR players should have been in it. Another TG who has no clue what he's talking about lol

Smooth, if you have nothing constructive to say than stop flaming the post. TG is a community of thousands of members playing every game imaginable. PR is just one game in the community.

If you say we are childish then what do you suppose posting in a thread like this flaming people is? Grow up, move on and let other people game the way they wish.

Actually I know the whole story as I am one of the people you chose to PM at TG, so incorrect. I also had sight of the all the other garbage you posted and the almost illegible pm's you sent to other Admins etc at TG. You actually managed to get yourself banned from almost everywhere at TG, which isn't easy.

Oh and TG isn't a clan, so that's another thing you got wrong. Also try to write in sentences that are recognisable as english if you must post anything. Hurts my head to try and decipher what you're actually trying to say.

This thread is to discuss the closing of TG's server which was a major role player for PR, not your stupid, cry girl problems which got you banned from our community.

Wicks, thanks for standing up for TG and explaining Smooth what he did, but like with him this isn't the proper thread or forums. If he wants to discuss more he can come to the TG forums which I doubt he will do if he is even able to.

Please stay on topic everyone.

Mange I am well aware which forum this is mate, it's fine. If he wants to take it up with me officially at TG he's welcome to. If he wants to sling mud at the server that I run, I will respond to him here, until a forum mod puts an end to his nonsense.

So many words to say to smooth, but its just not worth it. Please just go play the game and stop posting, this is a thread for people to remember all the great moments they had on TG, and to remember all the hard work put into creating those games by everyone. Notice how you are the only one starting shit here, there are plenty of other people who had a problem with TG, just they have enough decency and respect to say farewell.

But this thread isn't about you, so once again to everyone that's ever played on TG or been apart of the community, thanks for all the great years, and raising my standards of gaming.

Anyway, I remember the time I tried to seed the server around midnight EST, and we got ~15-20 people on it. Ah, good times.
