Cougar PWM fans are a real nice option.
COUGAR - Passion X Innovation :: PC Power Supplies, PC Case/Chassis and PC Fan: VORTEX PWM
Gentle Typhoon AP-14 is another high end solution.
You might be able to buy two cougars 120mm, then take the fan that comes with the hyper evo and take it off the evo and use that as a case fan.
martinsliquidlab.org | Busting out the science behind liquid cooling! has reviews of fans, it is my go to reference for case fans and other PC cooling components.

Re: Yet another 'Building a new computer' thread! Yay!
Done a quicky search and i've had a look at the coolermaster 120mm blademaster for the PWM in addition to the 212 Evo, found a PWM splitter cable and a startech exhaust fan running off an LP4 connector. Should do the trick!
Question about the thermal paste, i know you use it to connect the 212 to the top of the CPU to give it better heat transfer properties, but how do you ACTUALLY use it? Literally just paste it over the top of the CPU and stick the Evo in place? Screws around it obviously...

Use about a pea sized amount and smear it around to make full contact. ONLY buy Arctic Silver brand. Make sure it is made of silver and not full synthetic. Full contact, but not too tight is what you're looking for.
This is what I used on my rig:

Did a quick youtube search and found what i was looking for. Already added in the Arctic Silver 5 to the list, so pretty soon i'll be all ready and rocking to go.

Re: Yet another 'Building a new computer' thread! Yay!
Yet anther update, I've picked out a couple of case fans to go into the build. The Coolermaster 120mm exhaust fan (to go on the top) and a pair of Corsair Air series 120mms to go on the side panel over the GPU.
This will mean i will have 5 fans:
1 x 140mm front intake fan
2 x 120mm side intake fans
1 x 120mm top exhaust fan
1 x 120mm rear exhaust fan
PLUS the 212 evo on top of the CPU.
This thing is gonna be cooler than me rocking speedos on a beach in Florida...
or off the north coast of Scotland, you choose.
How many additional cables am I going to need for this? I've got 1 PWM fan splitter already on the shopping list (which I'll probably use to run the 2 120mm side fans), am I going to need any more?

Just make sure that you understand which way to run the fans and where you should be venting and intaking. It will make all the difference.

2 x 120mm side intake fans
I'd skip those.
Adding fans to side panels is always a noisy result, due to the side panel torqueing and rattling against the contact points with the rest of the case. Also because the side panel is flexible, the axis of the fan constantly gets knocked off center, causing weird fan moan noise.
------
1 x 120mm rear exhaust fan
That is also optional but you should probably install it.
Minimal needed
1 x 140mm front intake fan
2 x 120mm hyper evo fans (push/pull config)
1 x 120mm top exhaust fan
I'd skip those.

-----long winded rant:
, you can pick on up later if needed. Optional because your 2 hyper evo fans will be blowing large amount of air out the back case exhaust.
Take a bit of electricians tape, and a bit of plastic container, (and make a 3 sided, bottom left&right) duct between rear exhaust fan opening and the hyper evo fan closer to the rear exhaust.
Between the 2 hyper evo fans pushing out the back, and top exhaust fan pushing out the top, you'll be moving large volume of air.

Re: Yet another 'Building a new computer' thread! Yay!
The rear exhaust fan is the one that comes in the case by default, as is the 140 in the front.
This would mean i could take the Corsair Airs and put them on the top of the case, so I'd have 2 exhaust fans on the top, plus the one in the back, OR i could put one of the airs underneath the 140mm as an intake and the other on the top as an exhaust in addition to the stock case 120mm. That would leave me with the extra Coolermaster 120 which i could plonk on the back of the 212 evo in a push pull config.
So i've got it straight, i plug the PWM splitter into the MB header, then plug in the 212 evo AND the additional 120mm on the back of it to the splitter so they both run through the same one, correct?

on the mobo, you will have either CPU_FAN , it will be a 4 pin PWM connector, should be within 2cm of the CPU socket, usually on edge of mobo on the Asus Z77 mobos.
Should look something like this:

It is pretty important to use two of the same fans for push pull, or you will create vortexes or cavitation voids that will cause 'turbluence' noise.
AFAIK, the 212 hyper evo comes with coolermaster R4 120mm PWM fan, you should buy another if possible.
COOLER MASTER R4-BMBS-20PK-R0 Blade Master 120mm Case Fan - Newegg.com
front - intake,
Rear - exhaust,
top - exhaust
do not use the rear fan as intake, it will blow air AT the hyper evo, while the hyper evo fans will be blowing out toward the rear exhaust.

Also note you can use up to two 140mm fans on the side panel if you go that route.

Re: Yet another 'Building a new computer' thread! Yay!
Cheers for that, wasn't too sure how to set the fans up for Push/Pull but I'm sure I've got it now! I meant what you put about the top being an exhaust, should have checked my post!
I've also got the same fan on my wishlist so no issues there. Hopefully i'm good to go!
Here's my wishlist, I'm pretty certain i've got everything i need on there now! ignore the monitor and HDMI cable, i'll get those another time!
