maybe adding a scorpion? but maybe that will shift the balance the otherway around. And it would be incredibly out of place when it comes to displaying the historical battle. But it would probably help the brits a lot being soo bad.

Cause the only additions so far to balance it out(on the std and alt(night) layers) are:
-chopper with crate for brits
- they get burnsidehouse to start with for the brits
- arg have more spawndelays and need to capture boca house too

You could do a test and check if the scimi would start raping. But I think it's worth a try, because as of now the map is way too unbalanced.

Perhaps you might consider giving the ATL_Rifleman an MP5 also, Rhino? While I understand that MP5s may have been considerably fewer than would be portrayed, we have never seen such stark weapon gap as in PR:F. The Argies have that full auto 7.62, while the Brits have single shot. Even the US/USMC have burst on their 5.56s to compete and suppress in close quarters.

I find the difference between the SLR and FM FAL is only really seen in CQB, and then yes, FM FAL has a clear advantage, but at long to medium range, auto is pointless. the MP5 which is a place holder for the Sten is far superior than both the FM FAL and the M3 Grease Gun in CQB but is pretty much useless at long range.

Haven't seen any sources on how common SMGs where in both British and Argentine forces back in the war but could consider an alternative rifleman kit with an SMG, but would be good to back it up with historical evidence that SMGs where more common than they are currently ingame if we can.

As for the Scorpion, I don't think its needed myself. If the Brits get a Wessex as per the update then their logistical and movement capabilities suddenly shoots up and putting more Argie stuff on delayed and higher spawn times could help too, as well as possibly altering some of the terrain slightly which I know you want to keep everything as per the DEM data, but the map already isn't to scale and not even Muttrah which is 1:1 scale has anything like the exact terrain the real area dose, I did that all by hand :p
At the end of the day, it only needs to look and feel right :)

I personally would go with a FAL in CQB over an MP-5, but thats just me. Maybe a gun landy or two for the brits?

Quicker ROF, faster reload and sight in times, only downfall is that the FAL has a bigger round, but the ROF of the SMG makes up for that.

yeah. I like my dem data :p but that's mostly cause in the beginning I was so proud me mr. noob figured it out :D But I guess I have no real objection against altering the terrain.

But honestly I have moved from the brit side to the boca house area without anyone knowing multiple times. the problem is more the Argentineans digging into strongholds along the highest hills where the brits are forced to attack or get pushed into their main which usually results in tard rushing instead of coordinated assaults like it should.

I've been thinking on the busride home, the map started with a normal layout where gameplay was chosen over realism(current public STD layer) where both teams just started in the mainbases and a alt layer by rhino which was a mix between realism and gameplay(current public alt layer) . In the end both turned out quite bad.

Now I have a complete realism layer(development build INF layer) and an optimized version of rhino's initial idea(std and alt on development build). However the original maplayout got dumped(the public std). I might concider dumping the second(development std, alt) and going back to the original idea. This would mostly mean the removal of the darwin rallys for the argentians and more equal assets and spawntimes. Basiscly the argentians would start with rally at GG and assets in main and the brits start on burnside with rally and assets at main. I'll draw some maps later when I have time to make this wall of text more clear :p

I remember playing this map on the first release and the brits had a lot of advantage back then, the "pucara/skyraider" couldnt even take off because the british were too close to the "airstrip" at the beggining of the match.
