I post videos on youtube refferring to the website and things like that but since you can actually pay for views those BF3 folks will always be on top of you. I guess the best thing is , is to ask big youtubers to help us out by promoting the mod , but at te same time explaining how things work.

There is no need to call out for those Clans and Gamers, who have abandonded PR. They had their reasons to leave. We can still get new players by getting in friends and colleagues. Most of us might know someone who played BF2, but never tried to play PR, since it is quite Newbie-unfriendly, when you are trying to start it on your own.

Just play the game the way it was build to be played. Then natural promotion and people spreading the word together with some pro vids and moddb will be more then enouph. And more players is fine. But I rather play with the same people now having good games then just servers being spammed with short and uninteresting rounds of people who just play a game for a month and then move on.

Make the game enjoyable for the new players. If they experience those epic moments or maybe a whole good round, they will come back and keep playing.

But really, I'm going to try and squad lead more. There really aren't too many squad leaders who really know what they're doing. Not saying that I do, but I can at least try for a bit.

It's hard to judge if the squad leader is good or not, or if he knows what he's doing. I've been squad leader one time in my life in PR (apart from leading the Trans squad, which isn'T squad leading in my opinion) and I was forced to this position by our squad leader leaving the game. Then, the game automatically choose me to fill this position. I started PR 4-6 months ago back at that time and when squad members asked "So, what do we do now, SL ?" I was like "Oh sh*t" xD

That was really intimidating but still, I did the best that I could to keep my squad alive and fulfill the objective. We had a great round, lot of fun

I'm in the same boat. My desktop PSU fried and the company is taking it's sweet time in sending the replacement part back.

Well... My PSU fried too ^^ But kinda because I put a GeForce 210 in my case and 4GB or DDR2 RAM instead of the standard 2GB. And therefore the 160W PSU couldn't keep up outputing 365W for 3 years... It's still alive, but it makes all kind of strange noises and if I start a game, in 20 minutes, my PC shut down I've surely burnt some of the capacitors inside it haha

I'm not sure if HP would send me another one considering it's my fault because I put better hardware in it.

Yenno, I suspect that somebody like TotalBiscuit is going to make a video about PR when v1.0 is released. I'm certain he has heard of the game, and if we are going to go on Greenlight after 1.0 (which I'm more than willing to contribute some funds), then TB for sure will make a 'WTF is...'

Im pretty sure he won't automaticly do a WTF is of PR. Its a really hard game to explain in 20 mins, and a mod for a 7 year old game is not something that will get him a ton of views. And as much as i like TB, he does think of what will get him views.

However, if the PR DEVs where to invite TB or AngryJoe for example to come play with them... THAT could be quite interesting. TB sometimes does combined interviews/plays with DEVs, and i think this would be perfect for a complex game like PR.

I think mine's just a crappy brand. I had a 750W PSU from XTreme Gear who I've never heard of.

Lol i thought those interviews that TB does were always for ' WTF is... ' (Insurgency 2 and Anti chamber for example?). Either way, DEVs should totally do it, for 1.0 of course.
