Re: Team stacking is ruining the game

sorry but what clans and servers actually have "stacks" that are meaningful? CLans just consist of regular players in this game.
So true, for exemple I HATE playing IDF, when I play them it kills my morale and I'm kind of "meh". But the reasons are stupid, I just hate the TAR21 and their stupid mushroom hats, just makes me hate playing a faction. I rather play factions that have AKs in them.Human_001 wrote:Explanation is simple. People don't do good job when they are on faction they don't want to be on. Especially the new players. I do suppose you guys noticed this trend already, that such bias exists in any game depicting war.
Here, there is no such thing as Training to put difference between factions. Morale is everything. If you don't have the morale, only thing you're left with is your experience or friends you play with. Incase if you have those, you will still do good job because you will have fun playing with friends no matter the side and you can show what even on the other side you can still win. But if you don't have neither, you just run into enemy fire and wait for next map.
Let's be real here. Afterall you play PR to have fun. You don't come here to do boring team supporting infantry capturing flags as ordered. Unless maybe the team you are helping to win is faction you like. To expect people to do good job in boring yet important role in non faction biased manner is unrealistic. This is not a paid job. You are here to play the mod, Not here to be played by the mod.
I do suggest server turning off auto-balance so people can go to faction they like and be more dedicated to their team. Even though this will cause difference in number of players on each side. Because non participating or actively sabotaging players do more harm than not being there at all. Because even though there is less people to help you out or capture flags, at least they won't run off with important kits, waste tickets/vehicles, or reveal unknown.
i don't agree totally with you on that. i have been in dozens of squad that just enjoyed doing support or act realistic and i love playing like that the most! going and capping flags as order walk with your squad 1 mile with no contact that's all fun to me cause it's realistic! i am just enjoying myself just seeing people go as squads, work for their goals and do teamwork! of course it's more fun of course when you have contacts ambushing you but keep in mind if you hadn't go by flags in anyway would you have a chance to find any contacts? were there support squads if they hadn't like being support once in a while and see teamwork on their team?your'e bound to find action and fun if all play by the game and even being stationed at a FOB that an SL placed in order to play the game properly promise me at least fun! like your just sitting in the FOB gaurding it promise you attack on and fun(at least for me).Human_001 wrote: Let's be real here. i know you already explaind why it's dumb but i just had to drop my opinion on this: it's a dumb idea...I do suggest server turning off auto-balance so people can go to faction they like and be more dedicated to their team.

there are 3 most likely reasons for that happening:PLODDITHANLEY wrote:Recently I was Brit SL on Al Basrah, as my squad were they only ones attacking a cache and dieing each time I got unhappy and left.
yeah love the Merk guys their just great on blancing their server i don't think i had so much fun on other servers (except PRTA server and event's) wanted to join them but i their british based(i mean time zone etc, not a big problem though).[R-CON]Wicca wrote:I think i saw that swedish server, what was it. Gotland? Merk and the gotland players always seeded the server and split themselfs up. Made for some good SLs and asset users on both teams.
nahh i am loving the TAR-21. not cause any other reason except i just love bullpup weapons(which means i prefer factions that use them like brits) and he's reasoning is really dumb...Pvt.LHeureux wrote:So true, for exemple I HATE playing IDF, when I play them it kills my morale and I'm kind of "meh". people just don't understand a quality of a weapon...Stemplus wrote:How can you hate the Tar-21, it's the best CQB and medium range weapon in-game along with the C-7
A team stack isn't defined solely by clan tags, at least not when I start bitching about it. Experience/skill stack is a big problem, as I pointed out here:Portable.Cougar wrote:Just do what I and the rest of the crew have always done. Take off the tags and play. Same team stack. None of the complaining.
So let me ask, as someone who I believe was a TG player, is that the kind of ethos you guys followed back in your heyday?'[R-CON wrote:Psyrus;2018726']I (rage or otherwise) quit often due to what I perceive as a bad team, however this is generally only the case when a skill vacuum has been created by 'regulars' gravitating to play with other regulars.
For example the admins on FCV so kindly ran a !scramble (which I really appreciated despite being on the stacked team prior to that), and it mixed the teams up nicely, but by two rounds later, they had been restacked by all the regulars team switching mid-round and between rounds... it was literally almost the exact same as before the scramble... and guess what, the raaaaape resumed??:
It pisses me off to steamroll other teams round after round... I'm not sure why it doesn't bother other people. Lack of empathy, perhaps?
